Revision: Gmod crashing

So I've been revising and trying to make gmod work on this computer however nothing is working reinstalling the game, defragging game cache,etc. and I've tried many times to launch this game ending up crashing it. I see no problem with tf2,css and any other valve game and works fine so why doesn't gmod work? I tried to find out if it was the games or something so I uninstalled some to see if it worked I was wrong. Now is there any alternitives I could do? please help with this problem

Have you tried cleaning out your hard drive of usless things? Garrys mod needs a good amount of space in order to function.

Have you tried cleaning out your hard drive of usless things? Garrys mod needs a good amount of space in order to function.

I have 37.7 gb of free space including gmod of the 140 gb hard drive (deleted a few things to clean up) and it is still crashing.
