For the British army we use the 6 section battle drills.Preperation - Preparing yourself with necessary equipment and other things needed for a firefight.Reaction to effective enemy fire - Dash down, crawl, cover, sights, observe, fire (Probably changed by now).Enemy location - Finding the enemy using a range of methods, from muzzle flare and smoke etc.Winning the firefight - Putting enough rounds down to suppress them so you can do the next thing.Attack - Attacking the enemy obvReorg/reorganise - After the attack is over, move away from the attack area incase of artillary fire or re-enforcements. You would also do a head and injury count aswell as making sure everyone had enough ammo.It's probably around the same as the Australians.Btw are the Auzzies as obssesed as the Brits about Pnumonics?

I was in the army cadet force for over 3 years. Im planning on getting fit and joining the OTC (Officers training corps) aswell.
