Past experience with work/labor?: Prewar, I was a doctor, and a medic to the Combine and I still am today.
What will you do for us?: I will become their medic and do objectives for the Combine.
How long have you been in City 18: About a week, getting to know the Combine and people of its walls.
Can a CWU have possession of computers?: I think so, I have seen a lot of them use them.
Can the CWU have possession of guns?: Absolutely, possetivly not! Any CWU seen with a gun should be stripped of his title.
If a citizen runs up to you and asks for help, explain in detail what you would do:It depends, if they want to know where, or when something is, I would tell them. If they wanted help with something illegal I would instanly decline and tell an officer.
Any Disabilities?: A limp in my right foot, from a broken foot that never healed properly when I was young.
Why do you want to be in the CWU?: I wanted to be a CWU ever since I found out about them.  I am loyal to the combine while treating citizens, Combine, and maybe also open a shop.

Derreck was born December 3, 1992.  He grew up as a popular kid who loved treating peoples injuries and also selling some items as well.When he was 14 his parents died in a horrible factory accident.  After his parents died he started his Medic/Surgeon training courses.  November 7, 2006, He graduated, top of his class from his training.  He never married,nor had children. He liked that way.  There was nothing in the world more important to him then the patients he treats.  When the Combine took over he instantly became a loyalist.  He quickly earned his ArmBand and 9 loyalty points knowing, that he could treat more people that way.  He still is a Medic/Surgeon today, and treating patients just as well.

July 11, 2007 He graduated, top of his class.  He lived a quiet,fine life for about 9 years, thats when the war started.  He instantly became loyal to the combine and began treating Combine and citizens alike, thus earning his Armband and 10 loyalist points.  Then he saw a WANTED sign on the CWU building and walked in to get his application.

Character Backstory(Must be one paragraph):In July,18,1990 Siera Ponikvar was born into a rich American family that lived in Ohio. Her family was the founders of a computer software corporation called Onik and was very well known for their anti virus software and their operating systems. Only a year after Siera was born her mother died in a fatal car crash, and her father was never home for he was always at work, so she would grow up with no parents to but instead she had the family butler. The families butler was a 69 year old Japanese man named Goro Isumoto, and had worked for the Ponikvar family for over 10 years. Goro took it upon himself to help Siera grow up in a world where she would have no parents and he did so like she was his own daughter. When Siera got to her elementary school years she was avoided my all the kids because they didn’t know what to do in front of someone who had a family that was as rich and powerful as hers so she always got the cold shoulder. This lead to Siera becoming a cold and anti social person. With everyone giving her the cold shoulder only the family butler would listen to her and help her, and so he became her only friend. When Siera was 14 she found herself in japan, the year was 2004. Goro found himself taking Siera to the nearest city to protect her from the hostile aliens from Xen that where coming out of the rifts. Siera's father was killed by the aliens when he was out looking for Siera, before the portal storms Siera stayed with Goro and his mother who lived out in the country, at Goros mothers home. Siera, not knowing what city she was in and not knowing any Japanese was going into a sort of trance that made her almost mindless, all she could do was eat, sleep, and when Goro was lucky say a few words. After a few years the year was 2015 and the 7 hour war was about to begin. Goro went out that morning to get Siera a present because it was July 18, her birthday. Siera wakes up that morning hearing a lot of loud noise, she didn’t even bother to think about, but when she noticed that Goro was not in the hotel room she whent out looking for him because he was never gone without telling her. When she got outside she didn’t even seam to notice the people running and screaming, nor did she notice the drop ships and Striders ripping through the Japanese military. But what she did notice is the body of her butler laying out in the streets covered in blood with a small box rapped in paper in his hand. When she came across this sight she snapped out of the trance in seconds and realized that she was in danger and all she could do wad leave her only friend on the streets and live. Siera ran from the fighting all the way to the other side of the city only to find that it to was being destroyed and that is when she fell to the ground blacking out from exhaustion. When she awoke she noticed she was in a lobby with other people all around watching one small T.V. screen. What she heard from the T.V. before blacking out again was Wallace Breen surrender Earth to the Combine. Some time later she found herself in line at a train station in a city that people she didn’t know called City18. This is where she first noticed the Civil Protection, they where handing out City 18 jumpsuits to everyone who was going into the city. Siera has spent about a year in city 18 working on becoming a loyalist and forgetting Goro and her family by the chemicals that was being fed to her and so many others.

Character Backstory(Must be one paragraph):

John Omen was born February 27th 1991 to Christian and Julie Omen in Manchester, England. When he reached 1 years of age, his parents found a new job opportunity working in an IT Support company in New York City, so he moved there. During his childhood, John had a Manchester accent which he got from his parents as he wasn't someone who went out and socialised a lot, instead he sat the computer a lot, playing video games. In 2004, John was aged 13 when he was walking home one night from a school event when he was ambushed by 3 muggers, which stole the backpack he was carrying with some of his video games in, and he was unable to defend himself in the slightest way, one because he was only a 13 year old against 3 adults mugging him, and because he was very skinny from being sat on the computer most of the time. This prompted him to start taking lessons in Wrestling. John was also a big fan of wrestling and used to watch it as well as play video games. By the time he was 18, he had a lot of muscle and was trained to wrestle, so he signed on with some wrestling companies and was offered a professional contract by one of the biggest wrestling brands known. In 2010, he married Sharlene Howden, who worked as a Graphics Designer, and a year later they both had a son called Jordan.

However, the Seven Hour War occured in 2015, and afterwards, John and his wife were taken to City 13, as their son was taken and killed for being a child. They lived in an apartment in District 1, but the apartment was home to some very nasty characters. Two months into living in City 13, one of these nasty characters was seen by John smuggling contraband guns past his apartment room, and he decided to report the crime to one of the Civil Protection Units. This caused a firefight within the apartments, which ended in the deaths of a few CP units, all the gun smugglers, and John's wife, Sharlene. The medical side of the CP attempted to revive her, but all to no avail. John was grateful at the attempt to revive his wife, and mourned her for months during his stay at City 13. He became loyal after their attempts of revival, and swore to put a stop to crime as much as he could. At the end of his stay in City 13, John was malnourished, and lost whatever muscle he gained from his wrestling career, along with all of his hair from the death of his family. He was then transferred to City 18 along with everybody else in his apartment block to make way for a new CWU HQ to be built on the site. Since his arrival in City 18, he has managed to settle into the apartments, meet some friends and gain a few enemies from staying with his loyal side and helping clean up this City too, along with reporting Crimes. He received a Loyalist Armband as his reward, and hopes to survive and have whatever bright future he can have...

Have you ever been detained before?: I was once taken into detainment; although technically not detained. A man had beaten me, and I was asked a few questions, had my injuries treated and was sent back out.
Past experience with work/labor:I used to work at a car factory; maintaining the pieces of equipment that actually made the cars. I believe the factory was named Renault, although I can't be sure as my memory evades me these days.
What will you do for us?:I'll do anything the Universal Union needs me to do, although I prefer working with wood-works and mechanics, if I'm honest.
How long have you been in City18?: I believe around two weeks or so, I haven't been counting.

Roleplay Experience: Well, apart from numerous attempts to turn DarkRP servers serious, I played on some OA Zombie RP, I think the community died, the server was empty a few months ago. I've played on FO:NV for a bit, and TnB for a few weeks, on Terminator RP. (Never really got it in the end, just guys running around with guns and donator models.)
Why do you want to be accepted into the CWU?: Honestly, I just kind of want to RP as a bit of everything, I've got my CA, my CP, my two Citizens, (This one, and another) and my refugee. Also, it'll be interesting getting to take part in the CWU shops/stalls and the small events.
Character Backstory(Must be one paragraph):
4th of May, 1999

The young man, clothed in his long cotton coat, strolled out into the Paris snow, the snow sticking to his Wellingtons. He jammed a key into the door of his car, rubbing his hands as the heating system gradually powered up. He drove slowly and surely through the Paris slums, looking at the people loitering on the streets; he had out-liven them in some way or another, he had gave this district of Paris a good name again, or at least he was hoping. He was tired, frustrated and generally pissed off. He had gone to the trouble of working for a job, and half of his work colleagues hated him because he was black, the other half because he was from a poor family. The name of this man was Pierre Grosvenor, a twenty-two year old mechanical technician, son to Luc Grosvenor and Marca Dupont. He pulled the battered car into a parking space, closing the door with a slam as he started to walk towards the warehouse next to the lot. Ignoring the racial comments of the receptionist, he pushed open the 'staff-only' door, hanging his coat up. He changed out of his clothing, and into a white jumpsuit and a hard hat with goggles.

"Time to go to work." he spoke, adjusting the safety glasses.

Slowly the day passed, he fixed the odd piece of equipment here and there, and he drifted slowly through the programs on the computer, watching for a fault in the production line. He sipped at this coffee, and leant back on the chair; yawning.


17th of September, 2002.

"No, the oiling is needed here." debated one man, in a joking way.

"Stupid nigger, he should know what to do, c'mon you ape, fix it!" laughed another.

Pierre was on his back, examining what had jammed the conveyor, while his 'colleagues' shouted and jeered. He had had enough. He crawled out, and stared at the 'lead' in the group, the troublemaker, Henry Marielle.

"What's wrong, you want to be back in the slums with your friends?" Henry jeered, right in Pierre's face.

Pierre spat furiously at him, and started to flail wildly at him, knocking him to the ground. The other men stood dumbfounded, and by the time they came to their senses, Henry was wiping at a bloody nose, mumbling. For the next few minutes everyone stood silent, until the line manager came down, spoke a few brief words to Pierre in a hushed voice, and ushered him away. Long story short; Pierre had lost the job due to assault, and the manager was going to inform the police. Pierre left the building without a word, and he sped home in his car, paying no attention to his safety.


6th of June, 2004

The alarm clock errupted with a high-pitched noise, and Pierre slammed his hand down on the pusher, sitting up from bed. He had been living off benefits since his incident, and he was thinking about dropping back in with the others from the slums, the ones who weren't as lucky as him. He flicked on the television, and barely paid any attention to the news reporter.

"Rumours are spreading of new species of animals sighted a few miles south-west of Paris, along with a strange type of formation of clouds on the sky, although this may just be due to recent weather..."

The television crackled to home-footage of small creature skittering around a car, before it clicked back to the reporter.

"This is the only footage so far, although it may just be rumours, lies and fake footage."

In the next few weeks, these "rumours, lies and fake footage" was all going to get proven wrong. There had been a major influx of people moving into the city centre, and Pierre watched from his high-rise flat as barriers and fences were constructed. Every so often some sort of dog-shaped animal, or a strange rat-looking thing would pass by, and there would be a bang of gun fire. Pierre, along with a few others, were plotting to get in to the centre, as they had been left out in the slums. On the night of their 'plan' to get in, there was a protest at the barricade to the town centre, and eventually, the protestors were granted entry. Pierre snuck out from behind the wall, mingling in with the crowd of selected people, and he walked through the gates, and into the centre. It had changed a lot, a whole lot. The place was deserted, save for some barricades and armed guards. A man looked at him funnily, before giving him a key and telling him to head up to apartment-ten in the Terrie building. He jogged up the stairs, anxiously looking at the 'guards' on each floor, until he arrived at room ten. Pierre opened the door, and pretty much just collapsed on the bed.


Sometime in 2016.

Slowly life reverted to normal within the city centre, the occasional attack of the animal-things was getting familiar now, and now they weren't as suprising. Gradually people spread out, leaving the 'safe area', and it almost seemed like the things had disappeared, and that life was all good again. But it was not.
Pierre slowly drove his car out through the dirt track, the boxes in the back sliding around. Apparently more of the 'things' were coming, and he was out like a rocket. There was an ear-deafening noise, and he looked in the wing mirror to briefly see smoke rising from the Paris centre, and strange flying things in the sky. He was mesmerised, and did not move for a few minutes. By the time Pierre turned around, the car was crashing down a hill, right into the path of a tree. He awoke to the sight of a slow moving river, and a darkening sky. Crawling through the shattered window, he felt something strike him on the back of the head, and he passed out. When he awoke, he was lying on a train seat, wearing a pair of blue trousers and a blue shirt. He looked at the other people with these jumpsuits, confused. He followed the group of people, who all looked equally as confused as him, and they all stopped to look up at a large monitor, displaying the face of an aged man in a brown suit.

"Welcome, welcome to City Fourty-Six."

Past experience with work/labor: Before the war I was a freelance worker doing many odd-jobs but never having a "real job"
What will you do for us?:I'm very good at cleaning and good at moving things around. I also know basic first aid seeing as I've have had to see to a few hunting wounds when I was a child.
How long have you been in City18?:I've been in City 18 for nearly seventeen days.

If a citizen runs up to you and asks for help explain in detail what you would do.: I would ask him what the problem was. If someone was injured I'd look around for a medical CWU worker. If one can not be found I would go with the man to see what was wrong with his friend then alert a metro cop. If the citizen wanted to know more about the city I'd explain to him what the city is, what loyalist are, what loyalist points are, what metro cops are, what the rules are, and what the CWU is.

Roleplay Experience:  I've been on for nearly everyday for sixteen days staying online for hours. I've also role played at a site know as chatango for nearly two years, and not one of those shit role players the ones that have nice profiles and detailed accounts.
Why do you want to be accepted into the CWU?: I would like to be accepted into the CWU so that I may see things differently during my stay here at catalyst-gaming as well as see the role play from a different point of view.
Character Backstory(Must be one paragraph): Robert has lived a short life, that he feels isn't all that interesting really. He was born in Spain on July 25th, 1981 to his parents Morgan E. Jones and Jenny M. Jones. A few years later when he was ten, Robert, and his family moved back to the States, specifically southern Mississippi. It was there that Robert learned to hunt and fish so that he may live off the land should he need to, as a bonus he had also learned basic first aid for those rare hunting accidents. Later in his life at the age of sixteen, his family had moved to Russia. It was in Russia Robert spent the rest of his life before the Seven Hour War, it was there Robert fell in love, it was there his heart was broken, and it was there he lost his mother. Later Robert felt he needed to make something of his life, so he decided to apply to become a police officer. He held onto the application for what seemed like forever but when he finally got the nerve to fill it out and turn it in the war happened. As all the law enforcement or military members were killed Robert was glad he didn't apply. After moving into City 18 Robert still felt he needed to make something of his life, so he tried to apply for CCA, but was declined. After being declined he was very depressed and thought about ending his life but as luck would have it he turned in an anti-civil citizen and gained yet another loyalist point. It was as he gained the loyalist point the officer who gave it to him asked Robert if he had thought about joining the CWU. Robert hadn't really thought about it since being declined but since a metro cop had recommended it he thought he might be able to do some good. It was a few days later when Robert had made up his mind and got an application for the CWU. He spent a few days working on it and finally applied, now hoping it would get accepted. At point Robert is waiting for his application to be looked at and hopefully approved.

Why do you want to join the CWU?: I wish to help the civil society. Getting my loyalist armband was such an honor that I thought: Maybe I could help even more. I had always been a good salesman and as a child always dreamed of being a doctor... as far as I remember. I also want to truly express my loyalty to the CWU and to the combine. So, I thought that CUW was the job for me.
Have you ever been detained before?: Never
Past experience with work/labor: All I remember is being a good salesman and knowing basic medical procedures. I am a rather social person.
What will you do for us?: Manly sales and possibly medical assistance/ hospital work
How long have you been in City18?: About 3 weeks ago I arrived there. I know the city quite well.

Character Backstory(Must be one paragraph):

          Dan Tolstoy- writer, musician and true, 'pure bread' Russian. At a rather young age Dan had gotten interested in guitar. He later tough himself how to play the instrument, and this way impressed his friends and family. Sadly though, hir family was quite poor and was not able to provide the most positive environment. One day, after his parents got into a fight, Dan ran away from home, and went to live with his friends. When Dan turned 20, he realized- Hey, I should use my guitar skills to make money. He organized a band with his friends and started making money by playing t local bars and other public areas. One day though, Dan's best friend- the drummer, died. The doctors said it was natural causes; some kind of sickness or something. Being depressed, Dan quit the band and soon after fell into terrible state. Funny, he always wanted to be a doctor when he grew up... But I guess, fate has its ups and downs. When the combine had takes over, Dan was amazed at how quickly the conquered the planet. Character Backstory(Must be one paragraph): Mark Jabsolv had a nice life. He lived in the suburbs before the portal storms, with a nice home. He had no family yet though. He saw strange missiles falling out of the sky while he was out biking in the suburbs. He saw that strange object, and went to see what was going on. Then, blue lights kept flashing and everything was breaking and falling. He got off his bike, ran around a corner, when he met a strange metal object into his gut. It sent electric shocks through him, knockign him unconcious. He woke up later in a dark city with a strange tower looming tower above him. He looked up and saw one of our City Administrators, Dr. Aykan Gotturk, speaking above him. He assured that the Union was here to help you. Mark moved out of the train-station and looked to the streets of C18. He instantly saw things were calmer now. After a few weeks, he noticed a drop in crime, and stupidity. He wondered why, and then Mark remembered Dr. Aykan Gotturk's speech. Mark walked around the plaza, staying out of anywhere that will get him in trouble. Eventually, he tried to get some loyalist points. People hated him for this. He got his armband one day, and then someone mugged him. The dragged him into the alley, and mugged him. As two Civil Protection units were walking by, they stopped the mugging. The Union recruited the units for a reason. He appreaciated the Union. Mark started walking around, when he found a sign that said,"Help your city! Help your union! Join the CWU today at your nearest CWU headquarters!". He asked an officer for the headquarters and the officer pointed to the left. Mark smiled and nodded saying, "Thank you". He almost skipped to the HQ. He took up one of the forms and began writing.

Justin grew up in a small town on the outskirts of Cincinnati Ohio. Is father was a mechanic and owned a small repair garage near the town, closer to Cincinnati. There was not a lot of customers but enough to keep up money. Most were small car crashes from the city. Justin worked with his father in his shop where he developed good skills in mechanics and gained a lot of social skill from dealing with customers. Justin also drove in small street races with his friends. His skills in mechanics made him significantly better than all the others. Justin finished school and went to work full time at the shop at the age of 18. He stopped street racing. From age 18 to 24 he basically ran the shop due to his fathers health was deteriorating and he was barely ever at work. Justin kept his father in his home. His father handed the shop down to him after he retired when Justin was 24 (2008)(his father was 60).
   
   Later Justin married his wife earlier in the year of 2009 at the age of 25 and continued work at the shop. His father died at the age of 61 shortly after the wedding due to bad health. They were marred for about a year when the 7 hour war occurred. They were both sent off to City 18 where Justin worked as a loyalist and a general goods salesmen for 5 years. He did general work for the combine and gained his loyalist status that way. His past shop skills made him a great salesman and he had a lot of friends. His wife was housed in the same apartment building as him and was a loyalist as well. They talk sometimes but retain no relations past that. They were transferred to C11 shortly after where Justin continued his work and applied to become a Civil Worker.

Being a loyalist has enlightened me with many things that I will never forget, most importantly is how positive the Universal Union really is. Have you ever been detained before?: Only one (//It was a minge detainment so I don't think it  counts)
Past experience with work/labor: I do remember being a quite good salesman. I used to also work (before salesman) stacking boxes on shelfs or into trucks at some store.
What will you do for us? Manly sales. I can be trained to work in medical. I can also stack things and organize items due to my previous knowledge of that.

Childhood To Adulthood
Willikins Valtizno lived in Soviet Occupied East Germany during the cold war. He had a poor familly, his brother Jimmy Valtizno. Who is now in the CIVIL PROTECTION. During his childhood his family woudn't eat for days, or drink for days. Sometimes he would be on the brink of death, but some times he would get water, which would be old. When he was Seven Years old, he went to private school it was expenisve. Later it turne dout it changed his life. One day, comming back from school on a cold winter day he entered his house eager to show his grades to his parents. As he walked into the kitchen he saw his mom and dad brutally murdered with a Butcher Knive.  Terrifed, Willikins ran to the closet  Neighbors house calling for help. No one knew who ever did it.
                                                          Now, Fourteen he was in a orphnage with his brother. Many kids bullied on him how he looked and acted many of them started to beat him up, and other horrible things. One day at age Seventeen the Berlin Wall Fell. People begin to fill the lobby, screaming with joy. Some  Praying, others crying to show their joy. On that exact day, a family picked him up to take him away to a good family. Now, during  when he moved to the new Family he begin go to High School, which he did good. He was the top ten in the most talented at math, and was considred really smart.  He Finished school at the Age 21

Post Seven Hour War

Now, Willikins had a life. He left his old family, and left his pass as he became a man doing what he wanted to do without anybody in his way to say what he can and COULD NOT do. He moved to Paris where he worked as a  businuess man for selling Computer Products and clothing. He became  rich, and then his Company strated to get big, then bigger, then BIGGER! On May 5,2015 willikins decided to go to Medical school to be a doctor, he  started to think as a Businuess man to be dull, and worthless So, he did. But, like anybody else did not know, the COMBINE INVASION WAS BEGING SOON. First with the Portal Storms, and strange black creatures that started to wipe out animal Specises all around the Earth.  Paris was heavily guarded  by the French Army


Seven Hour War

Willikins woke, hearing a thud in the distance. It got louder, louder, until it GOT LOUDER and really close where Willikins was. It was gunfire, he went to his window and  what he saw freighntned him. He saw big brown Creatures with   3 legs, that could've supported itslef. IT was tall as 4 stories tall.  His heart froze, the creature saw Willinks in the distance while the  Army was shooting at  the Synth. All of sudden a Blue light came from the buttom of the Creature. It got smaller and smaller until a LOUD BANG was heard. The beam ran straight towards the building hitting it. The Building began to rock back and foward, until a loud crack was heard. It begin to collaseped, and Willikns was going to be stuck under the  Building. Next thing  he remembers, was blackness. All of sudden, He remembers Creatures grabbing him, carrying other citizens to somewhere. He closed his eyes, and prayed to god they did not take him to hell. Earth's Defenses have collasped, the Union have beaten  the Earth's defenses!

After the Seven Hour War

It seemed years after him being carried to somewhere where he did not know where he was going to. Immidetliey, he remembers Citizens Popping up and Citideal growing out of the ground reaching  above the clouds.  Now, Willikns is in C-11, wandering what to do. His story is still unkown by others, even to Willikns. Now.. He waits for his Application's verdict. HE wishes to join
