If you haven't noticed, Valve's canon is exstremely vague, undetailed, and doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Ok two facts we should get down.

• Anyone to believe the HL2Wiki 100% cause we know half of its wrong because 8 year olds who have nothing better to do but make up stuff and call it a roleplay basis. Is a moron.
• Parasites were only added to keep people from getting to the edge of the map.  I doubt the parasite population really did grow that large when the 7 hour war happened.

Oh and a intresting fact.

Half-Life 2: Lost coast is non-canon, never happened.
