OCRP2 Poll: Cars

Alright, so I've had this idea lately as to what to do with the cars. I've been looking at all the TDM cars and the sickness cars and frankly, I want to switch to TDM. But its the community at large who would be choosing.

If we were to switch:
- Cars that have a equivalent or near equivalent with TDM will be replaced. (with a few exceptions such as govt and mules/yankees)
- Cars that do not will be removed.
- Anyone who has a car that is removed will be refunded the value of the car.
- People will need to get the TDM svn or workshop files
- I would add more cars than if we were not switching
- Almost every car will be HQ.

If we were not to switch:
- A few TDM cars will be added
- It will be recommended to get the SVN or workshop but it will be integrated into the current content pack.
- Only a few cars would be HQ. Sickness cars would feel out of place

This will be an ongoing poll until I think theres enough input. Feel free to post what you think.

I'm down for a switch. We could use a vehicle overhaul, People are getting tired of the same old cars.

Then people can decide what they want to do with their refunded money.

TDM is the only good maker of drivable vehicles in GMod. Sickness's models are terrible and way overused. Just wipe all of the vehicles completely and switch over. There's at least 1-2 alternative(s) for each Sickness car we currently have.

If this means that we will have more variety and HQ cars, Hell yea I'm down. Also, I don't think there should be a 'replaced' TDM car. I would rather just be refunded the money I paid for my cars.

Not only the fact that the cars are amazing, the scripts don't need to be tweaked any. So if this goes through it shouldn't take that long other than removed some unneeded code from the script

I like this idea. Especially if the cars keep similar pricing.

Some of my cars have every single upgrade (well 2 actually) which adds up to somewhere around 200k worth of upgrade each car.
Will people get this refunded as well?

Also, going by each player to check which cars he has to see how much money he should be refunded is going to be kinda hard work.

Obviously a script will be made on first spawn after the update that applies these changes, and will automatically refund money.

No, only sickness. And that is what I meant. What cars are those? Since I have no clue which cars are sickness and which not.

As long as TDM cars handle better then Sickness, I'm down for switching.

I dont mind downloading tdm. Dont add them to the FastDL though. I guarantee people will just hit cancel when their downloads are taking too long.
