It occurred to me that a lot of RP characters are inspired by characters from different movies or TV shows. obviously, if you've taken such a liking to them as to model a character around them, then you can peg them as 'best'. Anyway, my nomination for best TV show character is...
The Hound, from Game of Thrones

Beans is a completely made up character that I thought up one night 2 years ago in my dazed half sleeping and half awake state. But I guess he's best compared to Daryl Dixon from the walking dead, in looks/build and personality.
Both characters exhibit being rebellious and independent, but helpful if need be. Perfect blend of redneck, badass, and serial killer.

Although not a /true/ RP character, Joke always imagined that 'Bowie' was sorta' like Gunner from the Expendables movies, but as I watched the new one, I had to agree. I've always loved Gunner for his comic relief in the Expendables, and the part where-

'The Doctor'
The delusional and wonderful man inspired almost entirely by The Doctor from Dr Who; mostly eleven as he is my personal favorite of all of the incarnations.
His apparel is also based off the 11th Doctor outfit.
I have been meaning to get a "Sherlock Holmes" style char for a while now, I would base him off the recent TV series
