AVG is a pile of shit. Good old MSE will do the trick and you don't need AVG or Avast unless you start going on stupid shit like warez sites or downloading obvious viruses.

I have Kasperskie or some shit like that.

Its cheep and works awsome. It actually alerts you when something weird is their and lets you block or allow. Also, before downloading anything, it suspends the file and scans it.
