Okay, so now to the problem, when I play some games, for example League of Legends and Prototype 2 (These are the games when it happens most) after a few minutes, maybe 10, my main screen goes into sleep mode and after a few seconds the computer freezes and sounds gets messed up and I have to restart the computer, when the screen dies I still have controll over the cursor on the 2nd screen but like i said, after a few seconds the computer dies.

I have never had these problems before, I recently upgraded my OS from win7 x32bit to x64bit and now these things happens. Sometimes the computer freezes up and after a few seconds both screens dies and comes up again displaying a message in the botton right courner saying "The graphicrutin have stopped working and have been recovered" (something like that)

How can I fix this? I've been googling about this issue a lot but I can't find any help because most of the forums and threads haven't been solved or answered.




Things I've tried:

-Turning off the "auto" sleep mode thingy in power tag at controll panel
-Installing an older driverrutin for my video card (11.11c)
-Removeing the side of the computer and put a desk fan on it to cool it down

I am not finding any problems in the dxdiag. You should probably re-new the CPU and if it still dosn't work, that bad luck for you :/. Try that and try re-newing the video card if you have too.

I would suggest reseating your graphics card + your CPU, I have had many problems on my PC that were fixed by simply reinstalling a part or two.

Yeah I would have to agree, get the canned air and try cleaning the bastard out. Gore does accumulate over time, it can have major effects on your hardware. I am not a computer genius, and to be honest, I don't even have anything other than an on-board graphics card, however, I do know that cleaning the dust can improve your performance and reduce heat.

From what you're describing, it defiantly sounds like a heating problem. So try that all out. Sorry that I can't be a greater help. Fuck bitches get money.
