Random lag

Everytime I play an FPS other then Gmod, I get random, crippling and explainable lag. It is very annoying. pls hepl.

Sorry about no one posted on this but you should close down unneeded programs open on your computer. If anything is downloading cancel that out it causes load of lag. And also if its newer ones you could update your graphics card if your running a Gaming PC already.
