Double posting: Shoutbox Edition

When I'm in the Steam Web Browser, I refresh the page after posting in the shoutbox and it double posts. I even got warned by an admin for spam. Please fix the issue, thanks.

if you post then f5 it will happen with any webkit based browser (presumably others too) its not really an issue its just how the shoutbox system works...

infact it used to happen to me but it doesnt now, so its an issue with steam browser (use window -noborder its better)

It's because on refresh it re-sends the POST data that you entered when you hit the "submit" button in the form field to send the message.

If you close the tab and load catalyst-gaming again it won't do this, or visit a different page. There's no way we can fix this easily.
