1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.The entire world becomes hindered and tainted before the eyes of it's inhabitants. Safety no longer holds meaning to the human race, only Survival. Only Loyalty. Marcus Verilius has held his head high in determination to attain a position for himself among the greatest force to have been recorded in existence.
The life of Marcus has been that of knowledge and questioning, a life of unjust and cruelty in its grandest of forms. This collective intake of narcissism and optimism has given him new found insight on the world before him. The people among him, once strong as nations, now stand divided and maimed like weak animals, Primal and Savage.
At first glance he had deemed the world and its contents lost in the wrath of the portal storms and the devastation it spewed out. After many days of emotional depression and disarray, his sights then turned toward the Combine and it's vast control. His first assessment was of hatred and malice, an insatiable drive to destroy everything it took to rid the earth of the combine. However, with time and dwelling thoughts, he knew that the invasion was the only "True" way to restore order to Earth and preserve what was left of humanity.
The hope of re-instilling values that once were applied to humanity is but one of many goals Marcus lays upon himself as he applies his services to the CCA.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.My expectations are to continue a more Advanced Role playing experience along with another side of Passive RP i have yet to participate in. My character development will proceed as it has along with a thick story line i have planned out for future references should they apply to future happenings.
I expect what i have read about others doing as well. Training, casual patrolling, and other task's as i rise through the ranks (If i rise through the ranks). As well as being trained and insturcted on how and what i should be doing.
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.Marcus Verilius was born in a small home outside of Rome Near the outlying settlements in Terni. His father was an American traveler greatly influenced by philosophy and knowledge of the world, which was one of his main reasons for traveling to Italy. His Mother was from Athens and was part of a large family in Greece.
Marcus's childhood was filled with vast amounts of schooling and instruction from his father. Learning all methods of philosophy and world history his father could explain to him in a 14 year span. In his spare time, marcus would often sneak away from their home in Rome, even so bold as to go all the way to Greece itself. For Traveling was what Marcus's Heart truly desired.
The weather was dark and the mood was grim when great amounts of talk began to surface about destruction in all parts of the world, creatures ripping through earths surface, mutating, Slaughtering people wherever they may be. It was the most absurd thing Marcus had ever heard. The truth soon cut into their minds as they watched matter rip apart releasing creatures of a foul distinction, laying waste to everything in reach.
With great haste Marcus and his family set up for a grueling travel all the way to Russia. The plan was to gather his mothers family and take a boat as far as they could, however on their departure matter began to tear apart in a violent storm causing the ship to break apart and the majority of the crew dead or greatly wounded. Only a handful had survived, including Marcus and his parents, swimming to shore trying to interpret what monstrosity had left their family in ruins.
After 5 days of fearful migration, Marcus and his Family had arrived in Chekhov Russia along with thousands of others. It wasn't long before they were safely within the local governments protection and found an area to reside in. Their presumably good and hopeful situation would soon take a turn into the worst.
The housing unit they were in was poorly maintained and constantly having to be worked on, they had little to no money for food or basic hygienic needs. Marcus's mother had resorted to secretly selling her body in order to buy food for the household and pay for medicine to keep Marcus's recently ailed father alive. Marcus had tried to help his mother by looking for work even so low as to steal from markets however his failures were often and punishment came swift and hard. Disgruntled market workers gathered and beat Marcus along with local gang's upset for Marcus stealing from their territory.
Shortly along the year Marcus's father had died from his strong illness despite His mothers attempts to care for him and the lack of support from the local area and its government. The stress and misery of their situation was to much to bear for his mother. On the eve of his fathers burial, his mother took to the highest building she could find and threw herself off.
In a cold wandering state, Marcus lingered in the slums of what remain of his so called "Home" for the coming year. It wasn't until after the end of the 7 hour war, that Marcus realized he was being gathered into Moscow along with a great number of people for relocation by the Combine Authority. People were gathered onto trains and sent away to different parts of the world. The end of this journey would lead Marcus into the "Safer" City 45.
In this city Marcus collected his experiences and his surrounding emotions into a desperate attempt to revive his mental stability. Through this he gained a stern but broad outlook on life, as well as an understanding of the absence of mercy in many lives, he was even so bold as to eventually make a friend. A friend that would later shape their goals into a Loyalist Movement among themselves.

7. What�s your most memorable quality RP experience?The most memorable experience would have to have been on Tnb, when i was in a building with a group of citizens who later turned out to be rebels. The room was breached and we were detained, however it was the start of a massive uprising in which we were rescued and safely evacuated to a nearby extraction point. The part i remembered the most was when they had locked the combine that detained us inside of our previous cell and left them there. It was greatly humorous in the moment.
