Computer?
« on: March 04, 2012, 09:48:25 AM »
Hey I was wondering what you guys think of this computer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227392 I already bought it, but I had a budget of 600 bucks and was wondering if that was a good computer for the price.

For all you computer builders, I already know building a computer is better but I did not want to, and I was also wondering if the power supply (480W) Is good enough?

As you've said, prebuilt. Prebuilts suck for money and I don't know comparisons of them, as most do custom build because their cheaper.
Its half decent for its price and prebuilt, but as I have and near all will say, you could of gotten better for the same price by custom building.
what

I've never been a fan of AMD. I find Intel to be of higher quality. But for what you paid, it looks good.

Looks pretty good tbh. Like everyone is saying, pre-built's are always more expensive. But for what you paid I think you haven't done too bad.
I mean, I paid around the same price (In GBP) a few years ago and it dosen't hold a candle to those specs. I know it's a bit older but you've still got yourself a pretty good PC for pre-built price.

Your PC can run them, though settings won't be the highest tbh.

As for graphics card, you'd need a new PSU to be able to get a better card really.
Also, with CPU you'd need a new mobo, though I don't like nor know much of AMD, with intel being more popular and better quality.
what

As everyone else said, for a pre-built and for the price, it's really not a bad system, and you should be able to run a lot of newer games at acceptable settings, but don't be surprised if you find yourself needing to upgrade a few parts in the near future.

Yeah, I was planning on upgrading it, I have a laptop right now and I cannot really upgrade it, so I will move on to a desktop. Thanks.
