A suggestion and solution.

I've been thinking on it, and I have found the cause of HL2RP's minge problem. The non-serious/lite game modes like HRP, and OCRP has allowed little kids (namely) To join HL2RP, Google the answers to the questions, get their mommy's credit card, buy donator, then spam their v flag rights. This, must stop. We must get more, quality players. Therefore, more serious servers. Not only will it bring more players, it will give out current serious ones a way to branch out.

No rofl doesn't want more role-play servers because all role-play causes is community killing drama(Really guys the past three community's I've been in have been killed by Drama) He wants more none role-play servers.

If Rofl doesn't want more drama, than in my opinion we should get a relaxed game mode, like stranded, which causes little to no bitching/complaining. I mean, it's like Minecraft in Gmod, the only things that could go wrong is hackers.

Agree'd, the minge issue is just too much for us to handle, not even one normal admin is enough to handle 1-4 minges because they always find some exploit to get around the admin's trapping (e,g, putting on a roof,), and when you ban them, they'll be there the next day.

That is why we need game modes that have little to no combat or means to make combat, besides HL2RP, that is why I like Stranded, people can be easily dealth with there and it just has a calming effect on people.

Just so you know, we have a sandbox server, which is fully updated and ready to go, I just don't bother putting it on the status page because no one plays there.

Roleplay servers are not going to be added because of;

1. Drama as RoflWaffle says.
2. We can't afford more roleplay servers to split up our RP playerbase.

GMR, we tried once, it was fun for a bit but once you get your upgrades and your money the gamemode becomes boring and just ends up in the person driving around in circles. No one even joined the TTT server that much (I wasn't in the loop about this because I wasn't owner when this was up but I'm pretty sure it had to do with no one joining it). Trevor told us why SandBox isn't up.

Stranded hasn't been attempted here before and if it gets enough votes, I'll speak to Tomasas, RoflWaffle and the developers about it.

The reason we don't do more servers is because every time we tried nobody went on them and it sucked to fuck.

If you could find something new(say, a serious rp.) that people are intrested in, and could somehow shift all hl2rp'ers to said new rp(because splitting the community into 2 srs rp's is too much really), it would be okay. Though if you managed that with no drama, you'd deserve owner or something.

GMR was working very well until CG got OCRP then it just died, and Rofl said he is going to bring it back sometime.

I think TTT would be a good idea.

It only needs ~8 players to be fun, so it wouldn't take a large playerbase.

I say SSTRP, little drama because it's all military, no white-list required. And it's highly popular, dragging in new players.

Adding more servers does nothing. Nobody will be playing on them anyways.

CG Deathrun? Nope.
GMPTR? Doesn't seem to grab players, yet. Who knows what the updates will bring.

GMR, Raiden said it pretty well already.

Nothing will really work out. RP is GMod now a days unless you started the community with something very unique, it wont work if you put it up after the playerbase is all from RP.
