Character Section

Authorization(s):
A false bottom for a suitcase.

Name: Kenneth DeAndre
Age: Twenty-seven
Gender: Male
Affiliation: None

Write a detailed in-canon back-story how your character obtained these authorizations.
I'll give an example of what influenced Kenneth to obtain such a suitcase, bear in mind this actually happened; Kenneth DeAndre and Costanzo Vacanti, two reckless thugs of the 'D6-Saints', were searched after Kenneth attempted distracting an officer in effort for Costanzo to abscond before being tied, but somehow they both ended up face first against a wall. "Hey, 'gov." Kenneth whispered as the 'CCA' turned to use his radio, "Yeh', buddy, what now? I've got two bottles of booze in my pockets, I ain't in the mood. Either this faggot in the dress or Chesta' will kill me." Costanzo hissed back. "I ain't got ties around my wrists".  The two immediately sported shit eating grins.  Kenneth shoved Costanzo into a running start away from the officer, darting off in the opposite direction which he launched his friend, in confusion, the 'CCA' unholstered his pistol, firing. Kenneth grimaced at the shots as he bolted for D6, a few meters in front of his accomplice at the time. "Hahaha!" Kenneth cackled, slowly craning his neck to what he thought to be his friend; "We're a pair of fucking classy ant-" Kenneth froze, Costanzo wasn't there. Kenneth gazed over the D6 Hardpoint, shocked to see Costanzo on the ground, a crimson stain on his pant-leg. The 'CCA' jammed his pistol in it's holster, shifting on his heel and marching away as if he forgot about Kenneth.
Kenneth engaged in a full on sprint for the "Arturo Speakeasy". "Chester!" Kenneth screamed as he crashed into the room, "What?" Chester retorted, turning from a table of what looked to be a game of cards, "Vacanti got shot!". Without a word, the whole gang burst into the streets, only to stumble upon a woman dragging the poor man against a wall, "You owe me this." panted the woman as she rifling through Costanzo's pocket, taking his coins. Disregarding the woman, the 'D6-Saints' slammed him onto a bar-table as Alfonzo began to inspect his wounds. Kenneth promised himself and Costanzo he would never let this happen again.
Over the next few days; Kenneth began to skulk in the bar more often, imagining ways the gang could get around searches until he thought of something brilliant; he would remove the bottom of his suitcase, pile his contraband inside, and place the bottom back over it. He began to procure the necessary tools for the job before beginning the erection of the "false-bottom suitcase".
Kenneth began to measure the bottom of the suit-case and began to skew a sheet of cardboard to the appropriate size using the knuckle of his thumb and Costanzo's switch-blade. He removed the felt from the bottom of the suitcase and used an adhesive to stick the felt to the sheet cardboard to provide the extra illusion that the suitcase was normal. He neatly placed a 9MM Pistol into the suitcase, aligning the sheet over the suitcase, snapping it shut. He smiled down at the suitcase, his master-piece was complete.

What will these authorizations give your character in regards to perks or defects?
Perks
Concealing a few articles like weapons or contraband.

Defects
I'd imagine it would be a burden to keep all my useful contraband or items in the suitcase, considering if I were to lose said suitcase it would be extremely inconvenient. Another defect would be not being able to use said items immediately, I would have to unpack the items on top of the false-bottom and find said item, a time consuming process.

What do you plan to do with these perks/defects?
Concealing contraband from the CCA.

Will anyone else need these auths? (If so, list OOC and IC name(s))
No one else will, no.

Which server does this apply for?
Both

Extra Notes (optional):
Amended the application because Brandon suggested it.
Edited twice for more construction bits.

Your backstory only shows the Present. Not the pass of your character. It would be fine great if you summed up the backstory with details and such in progression of modifying it.

Of course, should I edit the current post or make a new thread?

Just edit your current story and leave a note with the reason at the bottom.

Double posting so that you can see this as a "new" reply.

I see you still have not edited your backstory, please do so to include examples of the useage of such a suitcase, and the actual construction of it.

In addition, if this is accepted, I feel that it's reasonable to have you carry around an actual scripted suitcase, and to limit the weight of the object you are carrying in it to prevent it from being abused.

I don't think anyone would take the effort to script a suitcase for 1 person to use.
Besides, suitcases are very small by themselves. Using a false bottom would make them even smaller, leaving very small space left to hide items. The most you can probably hide in there would be pieces of paper, zipties, or at MAX a 9mm pistol.

If you're refering to my post, I meant he should have to carry the (usually) useless suitcase item on him as a token of him having it ICly.

Almost 90% of the backstory doesn't have anything to do with the suitcase.
Well yeah, sure it explains the reason of why he would make one. But the actual construction of it it just put short in 2 lines at most. Not explaining how it works, and how much it would be able to store.

I think this needs a lot more detail of the actual construction and working of the false-bottom suitcase.

+support on the grounds that nothing bigger than a pistol is stored in the case.

Construction of the suitcase seemed realistic with relevant materials, and such.

Accepted on grounds that the max capacity for this suitcase is a pistol, or anything of similar size.
