1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.
My character really wants to have something to be responsible for. He just needs to do something, and he hates the quiet life. He wants to just be out there, helping people in some way, either by detaining the bad or assisting the good.
He needs the money. He is very poor, he gets cheated out very easily, and blows his money on stuff he doesn't even need. If he becomes a CP, he thinks he will get payed very well.
He feels that if he joins Civil Protection, he will be protected from fire and beatings and he won't be picked on, and if he joins he will be safe, as long as he has his pistol...

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
I expect it will be slightly hard, we will have to listen and help people, and also see any violations (audio violation, mobility violation, etc.) We will have to eliminate Anticivil and rebellious activity and enforce obedience into our proud citizens of City 45.
It will be fun though, as we will get to access areas that Citizens can't, such as the Nexus, and we will be able to have access to "Civilizing" weaponry.

4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.
As a young child, Jake Behiry was very interested and, as his father said, “Knowledgeable” about space and war strategy. For hours on end, Jake played Imperial War and Galactic Conquest games. He was a good gamer, and very intelligent. He got straight A’s in science and social studies and a PhD In astronomy. Then, one year after he graduated College, the Combine came to Earth. Because of his strategies in war, he was able to fend off some (but not all) of the Combine attacks. The first city he was grouped into was City 18. Here he attempted to apply for (but kept on failing) to be a part of Civil Protection for all of its benefits. He never got the job in City 18. Then he was relocated to City 14, then to city 32, and to at least 15 other cities. Basically, within 3 years, he got moved around a lot, and was beaten numerous times. Then he landed in city 17, where he was thrilled by the city’s beauty and its large size. He stuck near CPs a lot, but they kept on telling him to “move back” or “Go away.” Because of the beauty of city 17, Jake decided to stay there and settle into an apartment. Then, of course, the CPs come into his little abode for some reason and beat him. He took the beating like a man, of course, but couldn’t take it. He was beaten so badly that his beaters actually had to drag him to a hospital to get better. After the 5 days of recovery, he decided that, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. And so he applied again. And failed. Applied again. And failed. Then he was relocated, to city 45, where he tried to be the most well behaved citizen In the city.

City 18:
A man named Aaron once came to me and asked me to follow him. I did so, and he lead me to cat walks and a bridge above the city square. there was junk all around us on the bridge, and he started picking them up. He used a RD to lure a CP to below the bridge, and he started throwing garbage at him. Quickly, I punched Aaron in the face. He fell off of the bridge and became unconcious. The CP looked up at me. I yelled down at him, "this man was trying to hit you with garbage!" He told me to come here, and i followed his orders, and then he detained me for Assault.

Because, I am going for broke and I need some money. I am scared and I need direction in my life, and this is one of the directions I have turned to. I just want to feel safe, and If I am not a citizen, I know I am safe.
