Computer crashes when joining HRP

Yeah, title says it all, every single time I go and try and join HRP my entire computer freezes and I have to manually restart it. It's really starting to annoy me, any help?

First off, try lowering your GMod graphics settings. Do things such as changing resolution, set shadows to low, etc. Also, try running in windowed mode.

Resolution = Native (1400x900)
Windowed Mode = Yes with -noborder in advanced launch options

Going to see if I can do something in video settings tomorrow

Try updating your graphics drivers because i had a problem where i had 1 fps in menu and a driver update fixed it.

Just throwing it out there, I joined HRP with minecraft opened and I was stuck at 9fps, and when I restarted pc (After a sound problem) It went back to normal.

Can you post your computer specs? It sounds like a graphics issue but to be sure I'd like to know your full specs, Processor, RAM, GPU etc.

Ok, so why the hell would be out of date when it auto updates itself and I have crossfire

How the hell is it a graphic issue if I can run every other game quite fine with 150fps and a max fps of 300 with no graphic related issues

Here's my comp specs, couldn't copy and paste as I'm not on my computer ATM

CPU - AMD Phenom II 5.33Ghz
Graphics - AMD FirePro
PSU - 1200v
Memory - 16Gb

Don't know anything else , it's all brand new except for the processor, everything runs smoothly except joining HRP I join other servers fine, and I play Rift ( the mmo) and I get atleast an average of 75 fps

it auto updates up Steam and or Windows Updates and this is a brand new graphics card they made so i doubt they will have an update this soon

Try turning your settings down. The map has a few things which can cause crashes on some cards, regardless of how good they are.

Since new map came out maybe that will stop the crashing, cause I can join the biggest map and not crash so I thought it was just the map, I'll try tomorrow after college if it still makes me crash than im done and see if I can get another card to make it crossfire same version of course
