IC Character Name: Jake Nickerson.
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so. Jake Nickerson wishes to join the CCA, to play his part in the fight against the rebellion. Although he knows the rebellion is nothing but a bunch of people that steal, kill, and lie, Jake Still thinks, that they play a major role in causing a ruckus. Jake, a skilled Engineer, also thinks that he will be admired in the CCA, and he would provide the best, that he can do. Further more,Jake Nickerson would like to gain more respect from everyone, he knows he isn't looked down upon, but still wants more respect.
Jake learned how to do almost everything, he learned how to basically fight, run properly, and exert breath in a manner, that keeps him from loosing endurance. Although Jake Nickerson doesn't run as much, he still has some major speed, and most likely, will provide a pretty good beating, if he puts effort. Even if Jake Nickerson is nervous he will be more than someone who just follows protocal, he will do almost everything, and exceed on his duties, and most likely, make it to a higher rank.
Jake also discovered, that he has a very good listening, ability, and has the ability to see, practically everything, he can see the draw of a knife, From 4 yards away Jake, knowing the city, will also play a major part in the union. Also because of his exceeding knowledge of how things work, Jake will be able to Salve things better, and knowing if its a bomb or how to take traps down.Jake Nickerson feels that the union is his rightful place, and he is currently, writing a application for the Combine Civil Authority.
2) Please detail your characters traits. (Eg, Pure, Lawful, Trustworthy)Jake Nickerson would be Trustworthy, he has 5 loyalist points, and he reports every little problem that he sees in the city, he works very hard in his job, as a loyalist.
3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.I think the CCA, would be a very uplifiting experience in Catalyst Gaming. I have been here for about four months, and I wish for more people in the community to see how I roleplay, and I would also like to simply have an enjoying time. Also, Catalyst is really the only reliabe server with its population, and I know its not going down soon. Further more, I would get more connected with the community and, when I get to know the community better, eventually do helpful things, like donating, which I hope to do when i get a job.
Catalyst gaming, is a very large community. Also I show great support to the server, got a few friends on CG gaming, one is NRK he is the one who got me into it.I would donate to show some dedication to the server, in which if I get into the CCA, I will most likely do it and when I get a job for the money.
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.Jake Nickerson looks at the citadel from the Train station stairs he sees the structure, and the dark colors, and smiles slightly because he knows he must be in a better place now.Jake Knows that the officers of the CCA are, indeed human, he knows the creators of this citadel, are not. Jake is a loyalist and is happy to be one.He was a Engineer before the war but always wanted to be a cop because he admired what they did.Jake goes and sits on the bench and starts to daydream, and sees Himself as a CCA unit, and snaps out of it and looks around for a second.Jake liked the day dream it made him happy and smile, He thought to himself about how he would like to be a CCA unit.
Jake decides that this is what he wants and he aims to be a CCA unit and knows he will achieve this goal,to get the life he deserves, Jake doesn't know if his skills will help him get into the CCA but he does now he can learn new skills over time. But this is only one part of his plan, part two of his plan, is to get the CCA members to know him, and befriend him so, he isn't alone and knows that he is wanted with in the CCA. Jake is a loyalists and knows that what he has, and hopes it is enough for him, this is what also makes him want to join the CCA.The last one of Jake's day dreams that he remembers, was the one of his family, he remembers seeing on his calender his birthday highlighted in red marker, Jake also sees himself working on a car with his father, and getting ready to leave for his Girl friends. Jake, remembering the sun the wind and his fathers stories. Jake then starts to go through his, experiences depression, and he thinks about the war.
. Jake acknowledges that the war was better for everybody in the end but did have better life before the Combine, but he keeps that to himself, and he wants the pass to leave him, so he sees his life now as "Happy." Jake Showing all evidence of happiness, instantly covers up anything, that might lead to him being seen as an anti-citizen because he knows that is not him he is a loyalist and somebody who does everything he can for the CCA.Jake is now on a bench outside the citadel , writing a CCA application, and hoping he makes it into the CCA. He imagines tons of things he will say and do, such as 10-20, Keeping the piece and has learned some other things. He whispers to himself, I can't believe this time has finally come. his hands shaking lightly from being scared but happy at the same time.
