IC Character Name: John Tolman
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.My Character, John Tolman, always wanted to join the CCA and help fight for the Union ever since his brother become one earlier on. John and his brother, Mason Tolman, live in City-8 before transferring to City-45. Mason always looked up the the Combine, then soon fulfilled his dream of becoming one himself. John was about to apply to help the CCA then he got transfered after the city broke loose.
Mason would still care for John even as a Combine Officer, it was soon before Mason got his memory wiped, forgetting John. Mason was moving on to help the Union very greatly, even though John missed Mason, he know that it was the best choice for him. As John and Mason where transfered, John new that Mason would turn to be a great help to the Union no matter what city he was moved into.
John is now in City-45, remaining loyal to the Combine. He is now doing good deeds, helping the Union any way possible. He remembers Mason as a hero and wants the same remembered as himself. Now, John is trying his hardest to become a CCA and protect the Union as did his brother, he will not stop trying if he failed.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.I expect it to be great! I think it will add a better RP experience. I would love bringing my Role-play to the next level. I expect it to be fun, yet a harder experience in RP. It will not be easy but it will be fun and a challenge is always fun for me.
For my character I expect it to be good, he will adjust to it and it fits his characteristics as well. He will learn lots from the experience and so will I. John thinks it will be a challenge to fulfill as his brother did. John will not give up, even at the hardest moments, he will give the CCA his best and nothing but it. Even though his brother seemed stronger than him at times, he still believes he will be a great CCA.
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.John was born awhile back in the state of california. He was given the name John as a "bold name" from his father. Him and his brother grew up well with each other, as any family should. He always looked up to his brother as they grew older, even when his brother made mistakes, he believed that his brother could fix it without trying. John, in his teen years, played many sports as in, baseball, basketball, football, and track. He never gave up as neither did his brother. When his father died from a sudden heart attack, John and his family had to get over the fact that it was to late to say goodbye's. Right before the war happened, their mother died of breast cancer, living to only 56 years old. John and Mason agreed to move and start a "new life" in a different state, leaving the bad memories there in california. They moved far east, to Virginia. They adjusted to the change nicely, they owned a small coffee and donut shop in a small town in Virginia. When the war started John and Mason made sure to stick together if any risks happened if they splited up. They were sent to the City-8, still having trouble getting used to the fact of their new change. After 2-3 months John and Mason where used to the city, knowing it inside and out almost. Mason was a well known loyalist by other citizens and some Combine officer's. He then applied to become one himself, knowing the risk, he still would die to help the Union in any way possible. John and Mason where then transfered to the desired locations. Now John wanted as his brother did, to become a CCA and helping the union in any way.

7. What�s your most memorable quality RP experience?I was on another city based server, me and my friend searching around the slums for anything possible to find. Then we saw that we were being followed by a person with a gun. He asked us "what was our business here and why wonder around here so much" (Since we did every so often). He asked what we thought about the Union, we replied that "we did not believe it was a good idea and had many complaints about it". We gave more reasons why our characters did not like the Union. He then lead us into a warehouse, showing us that he was a rebel leader himself. We both got the chance to be recruited into his group with many others. We each got nicknames and really RPed smoothly. We made plans to prevent the Union from growing any further. We did many things with each other, teaching me better roleplay as a rebel character.
