The different between half life 1 and half life 2 was six years, the difference between half life and and episode 1 was two years, Honestly I think valve are pretty lazy on the old Half life front and seem to have an attitude of 'itll be alright'

I wouldn't say that, they made a pretty impressive MMO with the source engine.

I think it will be in a year or two once valve is done with CS:GO.  I mean Valve has to please us SOME time!
