Hunter's Journal
« on: June 18, 2012, 03:39:15 AM »
(Making this because after sitting and writing in a journal, people bother you a lot about it - So this was born. It's also a good aid to get me closer to TT reqs - So this makes me happy. Just like Fansastick said in her similar idea, None of this can be recalled unless the Journal is found IC)
The object found is a thick, leatherbound journal, old and pitted from moving from place to place.

The first page is almost completely blank, besides the passage as follows.

My thoughts are my own. My mind is my own. My will is my own. And my life is my own.

The page being turned, a much longer passage is revealed, a drawing covering most of the page

A rather accurate, somewhat detailed drawing of a Combine officer's faceplate is shown, diagramesque lines running from certain points across the faceplate, the bits of text following the lines questioning stability in areas of  the helmet,  functionality, and the probability of that area facturing, or breaking

Faceplates are extremely sturdy, and can stand up to excessive force. Reliable way to break or damage has yet to be found. Will be editted when discovered.

Just saying. I'd imagine the point where the line meets the edge of the top of the mask is a weakpoint because you could possibly split the helmet in two with some blunt/concussive force there.
Wha- Me?! But Stross said we could destroy the Marker!

The third page is missing, the fourth is another drawing with another short description

The page is a drawing of the Nexus with the Citadel rising behind it, with minor observatons, such as the flat part  jutting out of the left of the citadel has "Landing pad?" scrawled nearby it. As with the officer helmet, the drawing is
 detailed down to minute qualities

Unsure of the connection between the nexus and the citadel, and how the two communicate/operate with each other.

Try jabbing something into the vocoder, kinda hard to call in for reinforcements or back-up when all you're hearing is screaming.
