IC Character Name: Felix Tressa
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.A lone Combine walks the streets, and is watched by many starving men and women in the queue for rations. A man at the front of the queue, Felix Tressa, hollers at the combine to open the door. The combine stops and turns, slowly. He begins to walk towards Tressa.
As he approaches, Tressa stays standing strong. The combins flicks on his stunstick, and whispers into the ear of Tressa. 'You got some nuts, kid'. He zaps him, ties him and takes him back to Nexus. On the way, the Combine mutters to himself, 'we could do with someone strong like him'.
Once Tressa is released, he takes the Combine's advice and asks for a CCA app. He walks to a seat, and begins to fill it in. Soon, he is finished. He hands it in and walks back to his apartment. 'Maybe I could be a great Combine one day, One Day'
2) Please detail your characters traits. (Eg, Pure, Lawful, Trustworthy)Tressa is very tactical, and is loyal to all superiors. He will take necessary action towards unlawful actions, but never go over the top. He always remembers briefings and follows his leaders.
3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.I am hoping the Combine will be an exciting expierence, and a brotherhood. I have heard tales about Nexus, and, as well as keeping law, would like to take a 'tour' of Nexus when off duty. I find being a civilian almost boring, and would like some action and authority. My character has explored and I have RP'ed as much as I can, so would like a nice change.
I have friends that have been accepted, who tell me how fun it is. I expect it to be fun and amazing. I have played HL2 and think the Combine look cool and have power. I know that combine are respected, and feel I have deserve some respect. My character is waiting for excitement!
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.Screaming and wailing, a young boy is born, but his mother is not moving. He was named Felix Tressa, after his Grandad. He had lovely blond hair, and blue eyes. With his Mum dead, he was brought up by his Dad, stricken with grief, sent him to a boarding school. For six years, Felix spent his time being bullied by sons of combine. His Grandad was killed in the 7 hours war and, although bullied, he achieved good grades. He went off to college. There, he met a lady, who became his girlfriend. They got married and soon they moved to City 45, where they got married. Around 2 years later, the combine raided his flat, and his wife was murdered. After this, he began getting involved in smuggling. He was never caught, but his boss was found and executed. After this, he applied for CCA but was rejected. He lost everything, apart from his dark and dingy flat. On his way to a shop, he got in a fight in an alleyway. His nose was broken and after surgery, it was larger than before. Once again he was being tormented by men and women, who mocked his nose. His hair grew brown and eyes also brown. He began to miss his poor, dead, wife more than ever. Every day, he mourned. Every day he went down to get rations and soon enough he opened a shop. He sold many items, and grew wealthy. Unfortunately he was mugged by his old gang, that he had trusted so well. Now, he began to return to his life of crime, but he forced himself to be good. His wife had hated crime, so, in memory of her, he stayed abiding by the law. Soon he ended up in a line, wating for his rations.
