IC Character Name: Cux Johnson
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so. Cux Johnson wishes to join the CCA as in his mind, it is the savior of humanity from the corruption and greed of its previous governments. He thinks that the CCA is humanity's last and only hope. Also, in listening to the multiple broadcasts by the city administrators, Cux agrees that the CCA is only thing that can ensure humanity's survival on this planet. In addition, Cux also thinks that the CCA is the only real organization that provides real justice, unlike the previous governments he once lived in.
Cux Johnson also wishes to join the CCA rather than the resistance as in his eyes, the resistance is worse than the CCA. Through past experiences, Cux saw the resistance torture and kill loyalists. He also saw the resistance create chaos in the city and destroy many buildings that ensure the survival of humanity. Such examples are when Cux saw the resistance destroy the medical bay, the rations handout station and the rations supply line. Cux is disgusted by these actions and will ensure the destruction of the resistance and would like to see the resistance leaders brought to justice.
Cux Johnson also wishes to join the CCA as he would like to do a better job than the previous governments he lived in did. He wants to provide real justice, by bringing anti-citizens to justice and pushing them by how bad their actions were. Cux would also like to get rid of the resistance scum, only seeing them as nuisance and plague to the new Combine rule. In conclusion, Cux would like to join the CCA as he sees the CCA as the real deal, the provider of real justice, and the savior of humanity.
2) Please detail your characters traits. (Eg, Pure, Lawful, Trustworthy)Cux Johnson is an honest and trustworthy citizen, as he is known to his friends as the "Honest One", where they can all entrust their secrets with him. Cux is also obedient to the Combine and will sacrifice himself to save the Combine if ever the situation arises. Lastly, Cux is helpful, always assisting people in need (unless their actions made are not approved by Cux) and reports anything he sees such as suspicious activity and contraband to the CCA.
3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character. I would expect the Combine Civil Authority to be tough and challenging for me, but fun at the same time. I say this as I expect to do routine patrols as a Civil Protection unit, memories codes, ensure civil stability and many more. I also expect many RP scenarios which will help me improve my role play as a Civil Protection unit. As this may sound boring to many people, I find this interesting and fun at the same time.
My character would expect the CCA to be tough and demanding. However, my character is sure to be also tough and capable to meet with its demands. My character would have to dispose (not literally) of his close friends and groups as he joins the CCA as in the CCA, one is required to not be bias to anyone. Lastly, my character would have to let go of many emotions such as sympathy, happiness and many more as it may be a distraction for him to achieve his goals as a Civil Protection unit.

Cux Johnson was born in a poor country in a small village in Asia. When he was 10, his family used their hard-earned savings to send him to the city for him to finish his school. At the age of 18, Cux graduated from High School but due to the lack of money, they were not able to send him to college. Cux then took matters in his own hands by migrating to another more prosperous country to continue his education, promising his parents that he'll take them there once he gets more money.
In this new country, Cux entered a middle-ranking college (as he could not afford a high-ranking one) and paid his college fees by doing a numerous number of jobs. Cux successfully graduated from college at the age of 21 and then took on two jobs to make ends meet. One as a cook in a high-classed restaurant, and the other as a gym trainer. Cux did 8 years of this and he was truly exhausted. At the age of 29, Cux kept his promise of helping his parents migrate to this new country as Cux has enough money already.
However, disaster struck. Cux was waiting at the airport for his parents and the second he saw them arrived at the pick-up zone, two men, clad in a masks, armed with AK-47s, shot in the air, scaring everyone around them. They then used this moment to rob a money changer, by expertly shooting the money changer's escorts in the chest and taking the bag, full with a stack of money. A policeman, who was nearby, saw the whole incident occur and with his quick thinking, shot one of the masked men, killing him. The other masked man then panicked, shooting randomly at people, and got in his vehicle and drove off. Two of the randomly shot people, were Cux's parents. They were both shoot in the head, killing them instantly.
This incident broke Cux, as he couldn't get hold of himself in some weeks. When he finally did (when the police caught the killer), another incident occurred. The man responsible for killing Cux's parents, bribed the corrupt officials with tons of cash, letting him go free. Cux, hearing these news from his sources, was furious. He was furious at the corrupt government and the lack of justice and just wished there was a new government.
At the age of 30, after a whole year of not knowing what to do after his parent's death, Earth was invaded. Cux saw in the news as Earth's defense forces were literally destroyed. At first, Cux was scared, but after hearing that the new invaders were trying to establish a new government, a government that ensures justice, Cux was full of joy. Cux eagerly got on a train (well, everyone was actually forced to) and was told that he, with the other citizens around him, was being sent to a new City. A city where justice was efficiently delivered, a city where civilized society is maintained, a city where unlawful citizens will be harshly punished. City 45.

7. What�s your most memorable quality RP experience?In general, every second I role play is memorable as it is fun and interesting. However, to answer the question, i think the most memorable quality RP experience I have is on another HL2RP server where I was a Civil Protection Unit. My squad and I interrogated a capture resistance member and forced him to tell us the location of the Resistance underground hideout and how to get it. After numerous torture techniques, he finally squealed. After knowing this information, my squad and I called on for more backup and entered the secret passageway into the secret underground hideout. Unluckily, we met heavily armed resistance but with the help of OTA, all of the resistance members were killed (And losing 3 civil protection units in the process). After disposing of the bodies and identifying them, we were amazed at the complexity and how well armed the hideout was. We quickly raided the place clean and then assigned guards to guard the hideout 24/7 and to arrest any incoming resistance that enters it. All in a good day's work and a sweet Combine victory.
