I just bought the Logitech G502 Proteus Core. The Corsair looked nice but it didn't have as much going for it as the G502. It's more expensive but hopefully it will last me long enough to offset the expense.
Feel free to keep chatting about DPI, you fucking nerds
yea its a pretty dope mouse, youll enjoy it
Only things is, I have large hands so I dunno if it's small or not. If it's the same size or bigger than my MX518 then it'll be right.
I dunno how you hold the mouse but the way(s) I do is is kinda weird.
I leave my DPI at least 2500(although I'm training my hand to go up to higher DPI in the 3000's) so I'm able to bring my pointer from one side of the screen to the other without having to move my hand. I let the boney thing sticking out on my wrist lay on the mousepad and then I just flick the mouse around without having to actually move my whole hand/arm. The only parts that actually touch the mouse is my thumb, index finger, middle finger, ring finger and pinky to grip the side of the mouse for more control(it's amazing how much it helps) and the lower part of my hand just barely touches it. The rest just hovers above it.
I dunno if it means my mouse is to small/big but lemme tell ya, it really does do wonders the way I hold it. I have tons of control over it and so I'm able to quickly flick around.
I pretty much use a relaxed version of a claw grip on my mouse and rest my wrist on the mousemat. Very rarely does my wrist leave that position on the mousemat as I can pretty much control any game without having to move my arm thanks to the DPI. Right enough it took me years to work myself up to this level of DPI and 8200 still fucks me over when on my desktop

It's only a worthless gimmick if you have never used or wanted to use that amount of DPI, I agree with you there but if you are like me who still feels that 3000-6000dpi is still way too slow, it's a good feature.
P.S. It's hilarious the things you can do with the helis in HRP with 8000DPI.

Whoever said having 8000DPI is just a worthless selling gimic? If you play games like Elite:Dangerous, StarCitizen or any modern FPS game; DPI really does matter.
In Elite:Dangerous, the 8000DPI mouse gives me far quicker response from the space ships and allows be to pitch & roll much faster and sharper than most other players.
I personally have the M65 and it's great, don't get the white one though as the top is glossy and also gets grubby with dead skin.
The sniper button on the other hand is a meh-ish addition, it's hard to get set to the perfect DPI for sniper abilities and often throws you off due to the sudden change from 8000DPI to roughly 500.
Overall, build quality is superb and it works great in combination with one of corsair's mouse mats.

Trying to bribe other team members to unban you from a severe infraction just because I'm offline simply provides us more reason to keep you banned as you are trying to suggest that another administrator bypasses your permanent ban behind my back.
You are on a bug report thread, do not post about your ban here as it is off-topic.
Thank you for the bug report anyway, we will have a look at it.

Never trust an antivirus claiming it has removed a virus, the first and only time I got a virus and it was claimed to have been cleaned; I wiped my whole system to remove the chance of a keylogger getting my passwords

I was in almost the same situation, me and my girlfriend have been togeather for over 3 years now and she has moved in. You always know when it's the right one, moving in togeather is fun to begin with but like others said - Have some time to yourselves every now and then as even the perfect couple will have fights caused by being too close at all times.
P.S. People say gaming is bad for you, this is one prime example where it can be a life changer.
Good luck man, hope you's have a good life ahead.

Since the previous version didn't work out too well, Ask Me Anything (excluding anything to do with development or programming)

The best defence against these things is actually by becoming wise to their tactics, if something isn't installing via the default method, don't install it.
Also, check all options that are given as most free things that are too good to be true contain spyware and bullshit.
I've been rocking Windows 7 without an antivirus for 5+ years with no problems simply because I've become wise to what methods they use to install.

Why did this get abandoned and locked? That card deserves a better hand off than tossing it in the bin, the 9 series GPUs were amazing for the time and lasted me for a long time when I had no money or form of income to build a better pc.
RIP 9500, you served Cobs well. We will miss you!

Good selection, if you plan to run a couple of 1440p monitors or a 4k monitor way off in the future, I suggest just tossing another twinfrozr in (they will get cheaper) and just SLI them rather than buying another graphics card a few years down the line.
Hope you enjoy the smooooooth FPS boost that you get from the 770, my twin 660's have done me good for roughly 2 years now and still hitting a few hundred fps is pretty much any game thrown at it.

The twin frozr is an overall better card, it has slightly higher core and boost clock than the Evga 770 SC ( as I suspected, most normal evga cards are clocked less than other standard cards )
I suggest future proofing yourself with the twinfrozr, this gives you the ability to run 1440p monitors and even a couple of 1080p monitors without problem. For that price range, the frozr is the best choice you can make and not taking the better 4GB card is just insanity considering its only roughly £30 more.
