Finaly Figured it out. It is defrag! Defrag saves all! for those of you who have this problem:

Open steam; library; right click on garrys mod; properties; local files tab; defrag cache files.

That fixed it for me.

LOL I go to bed and get back on and now it stopped working... even if i try to defrag again....

I have a ton of errors in console. And they spam. I re-installed garrys mod, and only joined this server (after deleting the garrysmod folder), still errors and missing player models.

same problem since patch. I uninstalled garrys mod and HL2, deleted the folders to be sure, reinstalled both games and STILL invis models. This only happened since last garrys mod patch, before then i could see everyone.
