I feel the complete same way. Rock and some metal is fine, but when you get to the point where it just screaming with one or two legible lines, then it's not even good.
It's always audible (legible has to do with writing) if you actually care to listen. I'm not a huge heavy metal or screamo fan, but certain bands like Made of Hate are good.
Its audible the moment you turn on the speakers and hear the loud, or preferably faint static. And it all goes downhill after that when it comes to metal. I mean, they say maybe 3-4 *comprehensible* words

Thank you Shit-Head. Also, is the car explosion thing on the fast DL? 'Cause when we were testing it out I just saw massive, square ice sheet kinda things.
It seems only some people have it. Ive not heard about anyone else not being able to see it. Anyways i do believe the effect is default gmod :c. Il check it out sometime.
I heard someone else in OOC, asking what the purple thingies were that flew.
Also Crap-Head, cars can be exploded multiple times, I think. Because this car was blowing up all the time and it's explosion was getting bigger and starting to actually shake the screen. Make a rule for blowing up cars, Lonke kept blowing them up. No evidence though.
Lonke was already perma'd lol
Anyways if you get the shit of shit effect, just join hrp server and leave. Not to difficult to do, and i keep needing to tell people in the OCC lol

We don't need some spectacular explosion when a car is shot up. It just sounds like a horrible idea.
Its nice though. And as everyone knows, shooting random cars is a ban to begin with
