IC Character Name: Vincent Poachman
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.Well, it's all pretty well described in the backstory, but I might as well state it here as well. Vince, being a logical human being, knew that the Union had truly saved a whole bunch of the world with their actions. He became mesmerized by their motives, and soon began to speak out against rebellion. He noticed loyalist points were being given to him very often.
Naturally curious, he asked what they were for. The officer replied: "You use loyalist points to prove yourself to the Union, and to be permitted to apply for CCA, and CWU employments." This is all the information he needed. He was inspired upon the idea of finally being a true part of the Union. And so, he attempted to rack up more loyalist points for the soul purpose of joining the CCA.
"To protect and serve, not to reap the many benefits a CCA officer so much deserves." He would always say this when he was working for the points. Eventually, he gained his loyalist armband and knew what to do next. He would join the CCA, and, more importantly, forever join the Union.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.Of course, it would be rocky for Vincent at first. Being one of the odd-ones-out, in the sense that he would be joining purely for the Union's benefit. Despite this, over time, like all CCA units, he would become more 'perfect' as he likes to say. Perfect meaning cold, stone-hearted, and ready to face anything the citizens of the Union have to offer.
After training, given his intelligence, he probably wouldn't forget it. He wasn't a doctor, so NOVA wouldn't go too well. He hasn't ever been very physically fit, either, so say goodbye to APEX. It might be difficult for him to find his place, belaying the fact that when he learns something...he learns it well. Maybe GRID will be his place.
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.1979-1997
Within his child years, Vincent was supported by a rich family that lived in Akron, Ohio. His father, Taylor Poachman, owned a popular food business, in which were the wealth accumulated from. He spent his pre-elementary years reading children's books, and mainly keeping to his own doings. He didn't get out much with others, and when he did, he wasn't a fan among them. At six years old, he went to grade school for the first time. He skipped kindergarten due to a fear of being bullied, so he had had less experience with school at First Grade. In the middle of the school year, something brilliant happened to him, and it changed his life forever. At the age of six, he was asked to write a simple paragraph about himself. He came back with an entire four-paragraph essay. The teacher, as well as many of the other students, were dazed in confusion. Through elementary school, he was a gem, skipping 4th grade due to the school-board believing he "didn't need it; That boy is smarter than our super-intendant." In Seventh grade, he wrote his first novel, titled "I Helped My Parents With Their Homework", became a surprising success. He was at the top of the world, come ninth grade, being on every poster, billboard, and other advertisement across the entire city of Akron. Then, only seven days into his tenth school year, he came home to see his parents lying down on their bed...dead as a doornail, with blood surrounding their cold corpses. Immediately, he alerted the authorities. They explained to him, after a thorough investigation, that a man known as "Jarret Smith" killed his parents. He had broken in to steal their television, and shot the both of them down when they attempted to stop him. Since that moment, he had to live on his own. His workplace was hell, due to the owner being seemingly angry at all times. He slowly became a vengeful person inside, yet a happy, intelligent, and giddy person on the outside. It only took a spark to set him aflame.
1998-2015
And that spark was being mugged by an armed man on a public street. He bought a pistol, and put it to his head. The date was 1998, and just when he was about to pull the trigger, a vortex appeared in his run-down apartment. Appalled, he looked at it until a strange creature appeared from. He shot it down with the fire-arm. Breathing heavily, he looked over at the gun. He knew that had happened for a reason. Whatever the hell reason that be, it was a good one. Vincent came to live by that moment. Later, he was picked up by the S.W.A.T. teams that were evacuating the city. For eight years, he stayed in that evacuation shelter. He was hungry, he was alone, but there was one thing he was not...he was not without will. Upon the arrival of the seven hour war, a black portal-like hole gaped overhead. Strange, metal-plated creatures swooped out of it, and began to destroy the city. Vincent survived for about a day, until a tall, bulky figure had knocked him unconscious with the butt of a rifle.
2016-Present
Quietly, Vincent stepped into City Eighteen. He then realized what had gone on. The Union saved the lives of millions by getting rid of those who didn't deserve to live. He read over the book 'Zen of the Union', and then stood upon a step, and spoke out for his first time. "To the Union," he said "To the Union I am devoted." Later, he was drafted to City Eleven, where he continued his speeches. Finally, upon reaching City Fourty-Five, he decided it was time. It was time...to join the Combine Civil Authority.
5) Have you ever had a CCA character here at Catalyst Gaming? If so, explain why it was removed.Yes. She was removed because she wanted to get 'creative' with a beating, as well as a few insubordination accounts, and one or two audio violations. She didn't last too long; Didn't even get out of 04 status before she got amputated.

1. Have you ever been detained or apprehended for a Sociostability Infringement before? If so, explain?No, I have not. I practice reading the Union's protocols weekly to keep myself refreshed on what is permitted and what is not. I do this not only to avoid being detained, but to assist the Union by having a truly loyal spirit in regards to it.
2. Do you regularly eat Combine Civil Authority Issued Rations? Yes. Although they could use a little bit of flavor, I am not to complain about nutrients so gladly given to us by the Combine Civil Authority.
3. Are you willing to give your life to the cause of the Universal Union?Without a doubt, I would be burnt, electrocuted, attacked, mauled, scraped, bashed, assaulted, or even killed, but I would still attempt to do my best for the Union.

Do you as a Citizen and future Civil Protection Member accept ALL actions performed by you and those under your command as your OWN responsibility?Of course; All who command me will see my loyalty without falteration. All who I command will be promised a stern leader, yet a well-trained one at that.
5. Will you remain loyal and faithful to the Universal Union as long as you live?Even after death, I would do all I possibly could to protect the Union. And as long as I am alive, I can do the most. Due to this, I shall continue to be loyal no matter the consequences, or even rewards, I receive in doing so.
6. Why do you want to join the Combine Civil Authority?I want to fight, bleed, and die for the union. I don't care where I am deployed, if I face trouble, or even if I am tortured as training, I will protect the union's cities because that is what is right. The Union's ideals have captured me into a sense of total loyalty, and because of that, I wish to join the Combine Civil Authority to, even further, add to the Union's unfathomable might. I want to join the Union...because it is what is right of me as a proud human being.
