"Quick Question" board

Basically a board where we can post quick questions/things that are to short to start up a thread, thing is, it won't go towards your post count so you cant get in trouble for shit posting because its just a simple question/thing that needs to be said. Now I'm sure you're all going to say "omg just use shoutbox", well I would if it wasn't spammed with a bunch of shitty shouts. Important ones just fall through the cracks. Having a board designed for those important shouts/things that need to be said but are not worthy of a full on thread would be useful. It can't be THAT hard to make a new board. I couldn't imagine it taking more than 5 mins.

I'd also like to add that in the board that I'm suggesting there would be no pornographic material allowed whatsoever. It IS NOT some spam redux. This is a completely different board with a completely different meaning.

Anyways, if you guys want to suggest a spam board, go make a thread about it. The board I'm suggesting IS NOT SPAM OR A SPAM REMAKE

Lets stick with semi serious and not spam or 18+ board. Yeah... I don't see the big harm in. As long and theres not shit posts and most of the forum rules are still followed with the exception of a few rules that can be ignored.

I think the reason Cow made this thread was the recent MLP thread in the Table Talk board.  It obviously wasn't a topic on social/political issues, so it didn't belong there.  However, it didn't belong anywhere else as the forum rules state somewhat vaguely that MLP topics have no place here.  Though I'm not quite sure what other topics would fit in this "Quick Thread" board, the idea itself has some merit.

I'd ask people wht they think on certain things and whatnot, but it would be to short to make a thread about and to serious for Shoutbox. Not only that but only a few people would see the shout and it would be spammed with all the stupid shit. Shoutbox just doesn't work.

I still think a fast threads kind of board would be nice to have. That way, people could post stuff like videos, funny chats, quick questions, forum games, etc. Just keep the majority of forum rules so people don't do stupid shit like they did in spam

A select group of admins don't need anymore of a reason to want to shoot this idea down.  As for my opinion, it is still for this idea.  We need a semi-serious board for thread games and stupid questions.

Of course you would miss spam, abbott. The stuff you used to post still makes me sick.

I would support the idea, hell, I think that I've seen boards like that on other communities with minimal amounts of abuse.
