Become a California Highway Patrol officer. This has been my dream from like 2 years ago. I absolutely love what they do and I think it is going to be my future career.

I always had the dreams to become a pilot.
Not sure if I rather want a commercial airbus pilot, or a military jet pilot. Both sound rather awesome.

Why? Because flying is awesome. That's why.

Somewhere in the political spectrum.

This.

If I really had to have a job I'd be something like that Man v Food guy, or if I have to pick a serious job, either a veterinary surgeon or an author.

I'm working toward either MedTech for the Canadian Forces or an Air Ambulance attendant. Right now I'm trying to get in the Primary Care Paramedic program in Red River Collage. I dunno why I just for some reason want to work in emergency medicine.

Its always a good idea to have a second plan which in my case is Air Traffic Control. That would be a fun job. I dunno why either. I guess I'm just odd on my choices for careers.

I've always had my mind set on three jobs, hopefully I'll fulfill them. First, I plan to join the Army (American). The reason for this is mainly because my dad was a Marine sniper in Vietnam back in the mid to late sixties. The second career field I want to pursue after serving my time in the military, would become a police officer. Once again, my reason is because that is what my dad did after he was honorably discharged. And the final thing would be an author. Unlike the others, that isn't what my dad did. I want to become an author is because I've always been told I have a "natural talent" for writing. English teachers, parents (Of course), administration at my school, etc. Honestly, I don't see it as a talent, more like something I love to do.

People need to understand (I'm not in the American army or even American for that matter) is that it's not all fun and games. Including being a police officer, most of the time you're pushing pens at a desk for your entire life and most likely wont see any action. The Army is different and you gun hoe Americans shoot anything so I can't really speak on your behalf, but I can assure you if you're one of those kids who are like "I jus wana shoot some1" then you're an idiot and need a reality check.

I'm not sure, but you need a certain education to join the military, which you can start on around the age of 16 or something. So eventually when you finished your education and you can join the military you will be around the age of 20+. Besides, it's not like you can join the Dutch air force and hop into a jet. You have to go trough a lot of phases and training etc.

I can assure you SkeptiK, I'm not following that stereotype and joining the military, or the police force just so I can get some action, become a hero, a rack up a kill number. I'm joining the military because I was to follow in my father's footsteps, not so I can get confirmed kills and make myself look up, and I also want to join just to serve and do something right. I'm also planning on becoming a police officer, not so I can assault and harass people based on their color (Which is what half the force does), or so I can shoot someone and honestly, I hope I never have to shoot someone in the first place, but if it comes to that then it does, but I'm hoping it won't. I'm not the typical American looking for the big paycheck every two weeks and the experience of a life time. I'm just looking to serve my country like my father did, his father did, and his father's father did and so on.
