IC Character Name: Christina Proxy Dark
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so. Christina Dark has been striving to join the CCA ever since the rise of the Combine started, as her... 'Master' emplored her to. She was told to give information and did, letting out some things about a gang of rebels in D6.
She is VERY interested in Technology, and when she heard of VICE's role in the CCA, she knew she wanted to join. She can even roughly understand the mechanics of the Floating City Scanner.
She was a technician and programmar Pre-War, so she already has an inclined knowledge towards technology, making her a slight threat to Combine as a citizen, and if The Rebels got her on their side, it might be a large disadvantage to the CCA's technology.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.A chance to rise in the ranks, and not to be a hobo-citizen. She strives for power, and I [LavaLord4] strive to get out of the boring life of a citizen.
((SUPEROOC: I'd really just like to become a CCA, it'd really make my day. And also by the way, I do not like to eat hay. I really am getting bored of being a citizen, so give me power to arrest said citizens, if the commit a crime while I'm around, I will zip tie them, and be proud.(Accidental rhyme)))
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.When she was born, she was put into an orphanage because her parents couldn't afford her. She was adopted by a strange man when she was 10, and named Christina Proxy Dark, most kids made fun of her middle name, but she didn't mind, she loved it. Her father went out at night taking a mask with him. He had bought her a lot of technology to play with, because at the time, technology was hip and new. She had gotten to the point where she could take apart a computer down the the smallest bolt and put it back together. When at 12 years old, she finally said, "Can I come with you, daddy?" He froze in his tracks.
"Are you sure, sweetheart?"
"Yes, dad. I'm sure I'm old enough now to come with you."
"Oh, well, ok. I- I'll have to tell The Boss." His emphasis on 'The Boss' got her curious, but she still went.
After a bit of walking, they got to the woods. "Why couldn't we have just driven?'
"Shh."
He slipped his mask on, and held her hand as they went into the woods.
The tress and rocks and shadows didn't help her jouney through the woods at all. She tried to keep her eyes shut, but when she did, she tripped over... something.
When they got to a clearing, he sat right down and hummed some words. The ground came up to meet her very suddenly.
She awoke a few minutes later, being held up far above the ground by a tall man in a suit with no face. She was strangely, calm. She tried moving her body, but to no avail. She was completely and utterly paralyzed.
"You will serve me." It said, "No matter what, you WILL serve me. You will try to get power over all and serve ME and only ME. Put on a facade. Rat out people. Whatever it means to get power."
She could only nod. She did not know what this man was capable of.
"Good..." It said slowly, "Good."
It then took one of it's many tentacles and moved it up to her face. She completely blacked out.
It took two days for her to awaken, her sitting in her home.
"Are you okay?" Her father said.
"Y-yes... what was that?" She asked, frightened.
"Well," He slowly said, "Your new master. At night, after you do your homework, you come with me."
"Why?"
"You'll see."
"What about my electronics?"
"You'll have time on the weekends. I expect you to keep up on that passion."
"Yes, daddy."
"I'm not your daddy now. He is."
A chill ran over her body. She thought, ' I don't like that man, though.'
Years later, she had grown to accept the Slenderman as her owner and master. She was a famous technician and programmer at the time. She had invented the 'RemSleep009', the first functional cryo-chamber.
Then, it happened too suddenly. First, Black Mesa, an underground government research facility, exploded, leaving most of the Midwest and Southwestern states a crater. Then a day later, within 7 hours the earth was taken over by something called the Combine.
As she was applying for citizenship, she had a vision of Slenderman. "Sleep, child. I shall take care of this for you. Remember, acquire power for me, child."
Soon, she woke up on a train in strange clothes, with a mask only lightly hanging on her face by rule of gravity. She awoke to the world we see today. The Combine's world.
