Why do people say they are built to breakdown? Out of all of the American cars my family has owned, none of them have had any mechanical problems.

Because japanese cars can run years longer than an american car can with less breakdowns and serious malfunctions that cost a lot of money.

My family has always bought American cars, whether it be from the 2000's or 1980's, and nothing serious has ever happened. I'm still against foreign cars, all foreign cars.
