Ammo Disappearing

Alright, I'll put it this way, I am really fucking MAD, and for a good reason too. I went on city one day, right? Well, I got my shotgun, 6 shells disappeared. yeah, was pretty angry, I still has 6 more. SO, I holstered it, and went to go plan a CP mugging, I took out the shotgun, ALL FUCKING AMMO GONE! 12 Shotguns shells gone, NO REASON! What pisses me off more, THE COULDNT BE REFUNDED, I aparently "Had no evidence", yeah sure I'll take a picture of the fucking ammo disappearing. So yeah, all ammo I payed 5k tokens for, gone, and no FUCKING refund. Sorry if it seems like I'm spamming, but FFS.

The same thing happened to me with a 9mm pistol, and I have yet to receive a refund for the 18 bullets I lost.

Make sure you take the ammo out of your weapons before you log off, same thing happens in OCRP if you don't take it out

HL2RP is also not OCRP in the same way that ammo is very very rare, not to mention the gun.

And no one is focusing on ammo. I never said I'm quitting the community because I lost some ammo, but any idiot can see why we would be upset about losing ammo. No, none of us are focusing on ammo, but it still affects my RP when my character ICly has a gun with ammo, and all of a sudden the next day, for no particular IC reason I have no ammo. What do I do if someone asks me ICly where my ammo went?

This happens to me as well, in the city as well as Outlands. Even though ammo isn't the center of RP acquiring ammo for weapons can be difficult, making this glitch quite irritating for those who do have weapons. One solution I found for it has been to drop your weapons, remove then ammo from it by pressing 'e' and then clicking on 'ammo' this is only a temporary solution though. Hopefully somone will find the source to this problem and post it here or in another area.

I would actually wanna know what causes this, considering OA just eats up my ammo extensively fast. That, pisses me off quite a bit of the time. And can this even be fixed?

To stop your ammunition from disappearing, when you load it in, don't select your hands or keys, nor unequip it (especially with the MP7). I usually wait about five minutes with my weapon unholstered, and it usually works. If you have two or more of the same type of weapon, it appears that the ammo gets loaded in all the guns, and when you drop them, usually it just disappears. The MP7 is the worst weapon for eating ammo (sometimes it just disappears for no reason), but I believe everything else is fine, as I've had a loaded weapon for a long time now, and the only time it's disappeared is if I've died.

TL;DR: Don't have two of the same gun and don't unequip it after loading in ammo, MP7 is a spastic weapon
