Hard Drives

Ok, so, I don't know, I think my Primary Drive is really fucking defective. I keep getting shitloads of error messages and I even looked it up and everyone says its a hard drive problem. Now I want to see if that's true before I send it back. I want to make my second hard drive my primary and switch them to see if I still get those errors. Can someone give a tutorial how to switch it? I know how to switch the cords and everything, but is there anything else?

Well, that's not a software change, that's hardware.

You have to open up your computer, take out the hard drive, and switch the current primary to the "slave" setting and the other hard drive to primary. Your computer then will attempt to boot from the primary drive.
