A small, beaten wooden vessel creaks along in the midst of one of the worst storms ever seen by any sailor of the continent of Regionalas. Massive white crests slam into the beams of the ship, sending a flood of freezing liquid onto the main deck. Soaking men run about hecticlly in their feeble attempt to keep the vessel afloat, while a torn silver and gold standard flies violently in the wind. The Parilias III is the only remaining ship in an expeditionary fleet sent out by Emperor Landiun XI into the Great Maelstrom to seek out new, fabled worlds. But their only fate would be ultimate doom, with nineteen ships being lost in the midst of the great whirlpool, and the Parilias III being the only ship to survive until it wrecked off the coast of an unknown land, leaving it's shipments...stranded....

What is the New Landarian Expedition?

• The New Landarian Expedition, or simply the NLE for short, is a colonizing force sent out from the kingdom of Landaria in a much different world. Following a large storm and the loss of almost all of the fleet, the NLE was stranded, leaving the survivors to, well, survive in a new land.
• Following the shipwreck, Captain Michael (the one and only Lone Wanderer!) led the survivors ashore to create a base of opertations, Forgotten Hope. The survivors now work to make a new home for themselves, gathering resources while discovering the new land, and its occupants.
