Craig Grahm's Journal (City-45 RP Journal)
« on: August 30, 2012, 01:15:14 AM »
Today was my first day in City-45, and it was different than I expected. I came from a smaller containment zone known as City-26, and it was cleaner, had more CP units on patrol, and had less unruly citizens. Today I was harassed for the simple fact that I support the Combine, one man literally tried to force himself into my apartment to either rob me, or to try and scare me. I reported him, and he received a Level-3 Reeducation, but so did a man who did nothing to me. I felt horrible, I gave the man 20 tokens to try and apologize, and he accepted it thankfully, he realized I was not out to make enemies with the common rabble, I just want to live in peace. I also met one fellow supporter named Joe today, hopefully I can get to know him better in the future, It's been a pleasure.

I couldn't wait long to write in this journal again, tonight was so exciting, I met a woman who didn't even remember the portal storms, I was shocked, but it turns out she spent majority of her life away from society. It just amazed me to meet some one whose life was such a parallel to my own. It was such a beautiful night as well, and to boot I got a ration from turning in a Anti-Citizen propaganda flyer, it was requesting people who knew how to, "Acquire various items", whatever it was though, it did not seem good. The CP on duty rewarded me though for my diligence and devotion, and I think I might apply for the CWU soon, there is just so much to do its boggling my mind.

Today seemed normal at first, but most strange days always do. At first Civil Protection searched the whole apartment complex, and I found yet another piece of disturbing literature, describing a drug transaction, in the very apartment the CP's had just assigned me to. I immediately called an officer, who then rewarded me for my diligence, then things got very strange. A loud thunderous crashing sound rang all throughout the city, and my first reaction was to trace it to its source. It turns out it was a downed supply chopper, but that was not the worst of it, head crabs began to pour out of it attacking the officers, then the slave vortigaunt that was on the chopper as well came out, but his nullification collar was broken, and he began to attack, he was quickly dispatched, but what happened next.... scarred my very mind, a dead officer, with all of his flesh burnt off came out of the wreckage, but one of the head crabs had paired with his body, and he killed an officer. A heartless citizen next to me laughed at the sight, witch outraged me, and I told her, " CP units are humans too you heartless person", and she stopped speaking. This city is insane compared to little old Twenty Six, sometimes, i miss the quietness, but my place is here and I will make my leaders proud.

Today was very exciting. I had to go undercover for Civil Protection to turn in an Anti-Citizen. The Anti-citizens group was called, "HT", I have no idea what it means, but I found a note talking about it in the UCH showers. The best part is that I got my first loyalist point, and I am now one step closer to becoming a member of the CCA. This news is great, and I'm so excited.

This is a stressful time, I've began to infiltrate a rebel group for the CCA, but to do so I might need to keep a contraband item. This is bad because I might just get beaten for having it in my possession, but hopefully the CP searching my background will see I'm undercover. This is just all so stressfull, I can't even think of other words to describe it. Till next time journal....... If there is a next time.

I am now unofficially authorized to carry a radio to try and further unravel the group HT. I asked a Zealot to go into the Nexus for interview, and told her of the two members I had met, and the radio frequency they had given me. So now my goal is to stop all of them, which will take some time, but it will be done. It's been a pleasure as always journal.
