IC Character Name: James Hargreave
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.My character wishes to join the CCA because He wants to make a difference in City 45. He wishes to put a stop to the rebellion that is taking place in City 45 and prevent any further rebellions. He also wishes to aid any and all citizens that need his protection. He knows that te rebellion is armed and he is willing to die to stop them.
He was lead to send in his application by a rebel. This rebel shot him in the lower leg and critically wounded his closest friend just because he was wearing his loyalist armband. He is also tired of being denied rations because of the constant rebel attacks. He will make it his mission to help the citizens of City 45 live out their lives in the best possible way.
His friend also led him to send in an application by telling him with his dying breath, "Help stop them... in any way you can." He was also asked by an APEX offical to send in an application because he had acted as an agent for APEX to help stop the "Remnants" rebel group. He submitted this application to honor the death of his friend Megan, and to aid in the detainment of any rebel group.
2) Please detail your characters traits. (Eg, Pure, Lawful, Trustworthy)My character is ruthless, Trustworthy, reliable, Lawful, intelligent, and strong willed.
3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.I am expecting the beginning of mt characters recruitment into the CCA to be difficult. The difficulties will be if my character can match up to the greater Civil Protection units. He will also need to go through the training and prepration to become a CP.
I also expect it to become much easier later on once my character gains the respect and trust of his superiors and fellow units. My character's life will become much easier when his rank increases because I've noticed that the higher ranked units get better gear and more respect. I also think that he will be a valued member of the CCA because of his traits and intelligence.
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.My character was born in New York City on August 19, 1994. He lived in a small apartment in downtown Manhattan. He moved to London, England when he was 13. He stayed in a large flat in Central London. Not long after he moved, he was harassed by a gang in London. Every day he would be beaten and the police would do nothing about it. When he turned 18, he was accepted into Oxford University to take courses in engineering and computer technology. His college career was cut short in 2015 when the Combine invaded the Earth and wiped out most of its population. He was one of the lucky survivors and he feels he owes the Universial Union for sparing his life.
