To be honest sometimes people feel to insecure to ask their family members or people around their real life's social area because of what they think people might do to them. It is much more pleasant and much safer to ask these questions on the internet.

People who post personal problems here are simply people who find these problems to be serious enough to have to seek the advice of people who would not judge them for who they are or previous events. It is a perfectly sane and intelligent way to ask these tough decisions.

As shownofear stated (even if I hate his Avatar). Don't like it, don't click it. It is to be known that if people post problems and such on these forums they expect answers. The least you could do is at least give a honest opinion on it without attacking the questioneer.

Also, you're forgetting the fact that it just stirs up drama and flaming.
We're not a help line. End of.
Clearly racist.

In all honesty if the rules have been set about what can (anything) and can't be discussed, these arguements are nothing more than a little clash of opinion. No use crying over some people who just want to ask questions or seek advice, no use in clicking their thread just to flame them.

If I could make real friends, do you think I'd hang around on the internet all the time? :P

it's interesting to see what people openly think about ur issues on the internet, i posted one in the spam forum on OC where i saw a girl and got a boner then didn't talk to her and asked what to do. u guys healed me and i stopped getting boners over girls

But honestly, it is a method of helping the weak people who cannot help themselves.
It improves our understanding of other peoples real opinions and true feelings; acting as a source of knowledge.
As a result I find it reasonably intriguing on the basis it is not worthless (Simple situation/Dumb).
