Anyways!
After a couple weeks of playing, I can safely say that I'm ready to again participate in the Catalyst Gaming community! But... "again" implies that I have participated before, and, well, let's be honest, the only reason I joined the forum was to snatch my Gold Member Benefits. And the few posts I had made, well, let's just not talk about those... But here I am now, ready to participate in the forums, and hopefully redeem myself of, among other things, that humiliating CCA application. I mean, what was I thinking?
Enough self-pity! One thing that made CG so attractive to me was it's server set in one of my favorite stories, Half-Life 2! Be it as my dopey C17 character, or my headstrong Outlands persona, I'm never bored as long as there's RP to be had, from running away from the CP's to having an IC discussion about the reproductive habits of a headcrab. I've been reminded of this in the two [I think] weeks of playing HL2RP again after two [I think] years of my absence. While I might rub one off with Harbor from time to time, my main interest is HL2, which is where I'll be spending a majority of my time.
At any rate, my steam name is Slashbolt, and I'm glad to again be apart of C-G!
