I am hoping to app for an axe with a short handle.

Write a detailed in-canon back-story how your character obtained these authorizations.
Beef had been chopping a bit of wood when he looked to his trusty axe and realised he could make it into a more efficient tool for cutting 'meat'. He put his axe on a table and went outside to begin searching for a few sharp rocks to cut the handle. Finally, he had found a few eroded rocks by a waterfall. He then went home and started chipping at the line on his axe's handle to show where to cut it. A few hours have past and the wooden handle had been broken in half. Beef took a few swings to test his, more or less, improved axe. He realised the axe was not as heavy and easier to swing. However, this also ment less grip, something Beef really didn't mind.
What will these authorizations give your character in regards to perks or defects?
Perks
- The axe is easier to swing
- it will be easier to hide the axe.
Defects
- There is less griping room on the axe making it possible to drop or let go of, when chopping
- It was not a clean cut so there may be splinters that can go into my hands.
-The axe can be worn down from use or rust from water on it's head.
- The handle may crack and require mending.
-. A shorter handle would make it less effective but easier to carry
What do you plan to do with these perks/defects?
I plan to add more of a chance for melee rp when fighting at close or add to hunting rp.

No one else will require these auths.
