1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.As stated in the backstory, Mark has always looked for an authority figure, which left him a bit bitter. While doing this, he also strives to become authoritative. Though it sounds odd, he is essentially a little child, with the body of a starved 34 year old. Because of this, he is willing to listen to all that his superiors have to say, and is always willing to help.
However, when the combine first invaded, Mark was a bit... disgruntled. A super alien race, invading and slaughtering the ecosystem was disheartening. He considered resisting, but was turned by propaganda to the side of the Union. He strove for loyalist status, but currently can't, due to the point system being removed.
He reported all things anti-Union he could find. Radio frequencies, assault, and contraband, he reported them all. The push to pass the line into join the CCA was being assaulted by another man, simply for carrying a request device. He then knew how destructive the resistance could be, as it destroyed scociostability. Mark looked up to the CCA as well as he could, willing to apply.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.I expect it to be hard, grueling roleplay, as I imagine, the superiors would probably not be very friendly, the resistance members, even more so. Making arrests would be a large priority, as with answering to requests. Malcompliance is another thing I would have to adapt to, as I don't see people not attempting to go down without a fight. As I stated before, following superior order would have to go down swiftly and efficiently.
But, with this, there are great benefits. My character would receive civil Authority grade rations, and a sense of authority over the common man. It would be absolutely wonderful. He would also take to beating wannabe resistance members well, as he was beaten and bruised by one.
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.Mark Facri is and always was an orphan. He was never adopted, and eventually, bitterly, lived on his own. He had no figure to turn to for most of his life, except the foster mother. Perhaps it was this that made him strive to become an authority figure, while also looking for one at the same time. Mark went to collage for 8 years, majoring in engineering. He earned a Master’s degree and worked for 6 years as a car mechanic. For the next 2 years, he spent his time doing odd jobs and repairs, having been laid off in 2010. He began working for MED-E Tech in 2013, making new designs for medkits, biogel refills, and medical tools. In 2014, the Combine invaded. Mark was spared. Spared and still bitter. But now, he had an authority to follow, which was the CCA. Mark respected the CCA and wanted to help them as much as he could. He got his hands on a request device, and reported all anti-civil activity he could find. He reported radio frequencies, beatings, and contraband, all in the name of helping the CCA. Mark was striving for loyalist status, and maybe even higher. He decided to actually join the CCA when he was assaulted by a resistance member, realizing the kind of people who support the resistance could be more than just a malcompliant, but also cruel and heartless. The same people they portray the CCA to be. Mark began to strive harder for status of loyal, knowing that these kinds of people could be saved from the wrong path. He tried to set as many people straight, simply out of kindness, and loyalty, not wanting them to be beaten. While Mark did this, he befriended other loyalists, such as Dustin LaRosa and Winston.
Having all the more reason, he applied for CCA.

7. What�s your most memorable quality RP experience?My rebellion character, Peter Hay, went into the plaza, and was stopped by a CCA. He knew what was coming. Death. He was carrying a bottle of acid, which, by CCA standards, is considered a level 1 verdict. He partly resisted, but was taken in, not ready to die. He was spared for 2 hours. An APEX 04 questioned him, with the help of an asshole APEX EpU and GRID 03. He gave all the information he could give, forming a feel with the APEX 04. He received orders to kill from EpU. The APEX 04 questioned this, asking to confirm. It was confirmed. Peter Hay was taken into the execution room, while the APEX 04 stalled. Eventually, Peter Hay was killed, solemnly, by the 04.
