New Log Opened: <::|| It's been an interesting first few days as a member of the CCA. My interview went fairly well, better than I expected, at least. I'm still getting used to wearing the uniform and all, but it will pass eventually. I'm still working on recieving the rest of my Standard Operations Procedures training, as well as H2H comabt training and working with the use of the 9mm handgun. I can't wait to get out there and start patrolling. I'll get out there soon enough. While I'm at it, I might as well get used to the Nexus. It's a lot different than the UCH apartments, that's for sure.

Right now, I'm fairly sure I'll be transferring into SHIELD. Due to my family's history as well as previous experience in the medical field, I feel I'd be well suited to be placed there. For now, I've just got to continue my training and working to prepare myself for the higher ranks in the CCA. I can tell I'm going to need to work up my physical and mental strength the higher I go. I'm ready for it, though. I'm ready for whatever gets thrown my way. ||::>

"It seems like forever since I wrote that last log file. Guess I just decided to not keep track of everything that's been going on. There's quite a bit of it; can't imagine what it'd be like to write it all down. Where to even begin?

I've done quite a bit of fairly normal stuff. Trained, patrolled, clamped, searched the UCH a few times. Nothing major really. Given a fair share of citizens re-educations. I've gotten used to the everything from my uniform to the MRE's. A hell of a lot better than those rations I used to get as a citizen, that's for sure.

I can honestly say that I'm starting to not feel anything anymore, though. Watching all of those citizens dieing has become normal to me, I guess. Not that it's not difficult to see, but it's easier than it was before. But watching that child...."||::>

God, I can't even think of where to start with this damned thing. **sigh** Oh well, guess I should just list em' off as they come then...

Had a sweep into District Six. Didn't go how I expected it to, honestly. I was just stuck watching the second tunnel in with 899 while everyone else swept the inner portion. Supposedly they walked in on some sort sex party or somethin. Don't know really, but would have been a good sight to see. Shit, did I really jusy say that? **A small amount of chuckling can be heard**

Some idiot had a cwhole collection of contraband books and whiskey in his apartment in the UCH. I just can't get over that; I mean, come on, use some common sense. If you're gonna do illegal things, go to a place like D6!

Guess the final thing I can think of that happened was that damned flood. Messed me up pretty bad, messed up others even worse. UCH roof collapsed and flooded, streets flooded, Nexus lower levels flooded. Was terrible. 298 and me were havin a whole mess of things up and down the street from the plaza to the D6 HAP. 298 got swept into D6 somewhere along that timeline. I went after him, but got smashed into a bunch of shit and the wall at the end of the tunnel by some freak wave. Broke my left leg and got a nice gash on my left arm. **Unravaling of cloth can be heard** Hey, what'dya know, that nasty gash's gone! Well, the majority of it is. That'll be a nice battle scar. 

I haven't really seen 298, though. I know 507 brought him in, and I saw him shortly in the temp' medbay. I heard he's in a coma, and all because he was savin my life...Feels like shit; I can't help this feeling of guilt. I told him I could handle myself, but if he wasn't there, maybe it could have been me where he is now, or possibly worse......

The woman was in the bathroom, her head was just....fucking messed up....**her voice gets shaky**notes around the room, eye balls in the fridge, grey matter in a suitcase, or at least that's what 350 says it is. <::|| **091's unvocoded voice comes on** "God, it's been so long since I've heard this voice. Been on-duty to much. Shit's gone down. Training, patrolling, rationing? If that's even a word. Same old shit as always. Citizens get hurt by freshmeat shooting them up for jogging to the UCh and guess who gets to fix them up? Me, me! I wish they'd get the idea to just aim for the leg....

But yeah, I guess other than that, I'm super fine. Fantastic. I mean, what's not to like about getting stabbed and gettting a liver transplant, then having the fix up other units who get stabbed and help THEM with a liver transplant. I guess it's all fun and games wih the liver until someone fucks up and stabs the heart. Then your screwed.

I've killed a bunch of people. I don't even feel it anymore. It's like killing rats. They're rats, is what they are. Rats! **sigh**

No, god damnit. I'm not gonna be like 725. Take deep breaths and we'll be good.

I gotta say by far the weirdest thing that's happened though are these damned headaches and these fuckin' dreams and visions and shit. They just happen....randomly....but they feel oddly familiar. I keep seeing a man, he's like standing on rubble and then he gets....shot.....No, I'm not crazy. I'm not fucking insane! **grumbling can be heard until static shuts the console off**||::>

<::|| It's been forever since I've done one of these logs. Guess I've just been so busy lately. NOVA's seemingly getting less and less units, with High Command drifting away as I get further in. We just got a new divisional leader, a former sectorial commander, Unit 479. I'm not sure quite what to think of him, but he went ahead and finished my training and gave me EU. Who knows? Maybe if I get lucky I'll get Officer at some point.

Aside from all of this command related stuff, units just keep getting injured. It's no suprise to me at all, we do a dangerous job. I've got the training to fix em' up, and it all ends up fine in the end. I'm wanting to get into Research and Development, as I could probably make myself of more use there. I know they're short on units, and I think it'll be kind of fun.

Note to self: TRain NOVA units better and faster. We need more of them. ||::>

<::|| It's been getting a bit hectic since I last made a log. Where to even start? Well, NOVA has an officer position open now. 938 sent out a message to all the senior enlisted units regarding the issue. Apparenty, anyone who's oh-one and up is eligable for the position. That makes me, 280, 605, and 899. Obviously, I think it's going to be rather me or 280 who gets the position.  We're the EU's and been with NOVA the longest out of the four. And why is 899 even an oh-one? He just transfered to NOVA a shot while ago. He should be an oh-three until he gets all the training.

Oh well. I guess I'll speak to rather 350 or 938 regarding the issue in the near future. I have to say, though, 899 does operate rather well in the field. There was an exogen breach earlier today. An Overwatch squad and Commander 03109 went in to Precinct Three after it when it came and attacked 124. All the CCA units on-duty were placed on watch-duty o the UCH and the plaza. That's when all their biosignal cut out, and dispatch reported the squad heavily damaged. I ordered 899 out to the HAP, we got two groups going. 899 took 634, 777, and 050 through the sewers after the Commander. I requested 452 to the P3 Tunnel, and told him we were going in after the four from the otherside. And he says no, "I'm going to wait for proper authorizations before I go in." From who? The commander was possibly dead inside P3. I left him behind. Gotta say, walking down that tunnel alone with an exogen like that about was pretty....odd. I can't even say scary anymore. I haven't felt fear in awhile.....

Needless to say, the whole squad was recovered along with the commander. Commander is stable, and the Overwatch units were sent back to the Citadel for repairs. As for what happened to the exogen.......  ||::>

<::|| Well, I've signed on for a temporary transfer to City 38 to assist with the development of their NOVA division. Apparently, their Divisional leader had no prior medical experience, at the officers were to incompitent to do anything about it. I still wonder how the unit got the head position of the division, and why the commanding units of the city would even think about placing him there. Needless to say, the units of the division are underprepared, lack the proper training, and are undisciplined in the medical fields. So, they've requested that some higher ranking units from cities that have good medical reports and records. City 45 was one of em' I guess. I signed on, and I'm shipping out tommorow on the earliest RAZOR train.

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting the other units who will be attending this session. It's supposed to be about a few weeks long, with a few days to return to our cities to take a rest from the whole deal. There's going to be three others units coming to the confrence; an elite unit and an oh-two from City 40, and an ex-divisional leader from City 27. I've heard very little about the oh-two and the elite unit, but I've read up a bit on the divisional leader. Unit 137 from City 27, demoted for killing is commanding staff for bad performance.

I'm not really sure what to expect once I get to City 38. Well, aside from a terrible medical division. I'll more than likely be tasked with solving any minor problems and field education. I expect the commander and elite unit to be dealing with large training sessions and dealing with the command problem. Least I've got an oh-two under my command, and the rest of the division I guess. Regardless, I better be ready for anything. ||::>

*As the log opens, the body of a unit rather quickly retreats from a position of being right against the screen. As the unit's face comes into view, it is fully evident that it is female, and clearly stressed. She runs her hand along her forehead, giving off an audible sigh as she ponders what she has to say. Finally, to break the silence, she begins to chuckle, shaking her head along with the brief moment of joy.

"I don't even know how long I've been here, wearing this uniform, wearing this faceplate. It feels like it's been ages, but I can remember being in JURY like it was a few days ago. Seeing all those commanding units, towering over me like some godlike figure. Now, I see old comrades, some that I even trained, leading the forces for the Union here in City 45. I gotta say, some of em' rose through the ranks pretty fast, a lot faster than I did. Guess regulations change now and then.

I can still remember, though, all those units who came before me, with me, or after me that aren't here anymore. The old high command, my training partners, those poor, sad recruits who just couldn't get it right. Sometimes, I wonder what it'd be like if they were still around, still here to swing the baton of justice at some criminal's back. Hell, I remember the sectorial back when he was the leader of Shield. Still scary as hell, might I add. But I remember the other divisional leader of Shield; despite his always charming nature, I remember clearly that one day where he saved my life. It was some god awful flood, covered almost everything in water. If he didn't grab me out of that water by that thumper, I would have drowned. Sad thing is, I know not where he is now, or if he's even alive anymore. I never even got the chance to thank him.

Not that other people haven't saved my life many times after that. I can't even go on about the three times I had to get new livers. First the knife, then shrapnel, then a lovely pulse rifle round during one of the sectorials training exersise. I can't even begin to imagine any real life firefight that would be that bad, where we'd have to be doing something. I mean, where in the City are me and two other units, only one of them in APEX, going to be taking on nine rebels with pulse rifles? I don't even want to know the answer to that question...

There's so many more memories I've got from City 45. More than I can count, or even remember for that matter. I'm really gonna miss it, but City 45 doesn't need me anymore. They've got plenty of good units, plenty of good leaders. City 38 needs me more than they do. Unit 091 is.......

Well, this is it for 091 guys. I've had some great times on her, and she was an amazing experience for me. I've just lost interest in HL2RP after playing on it all summer long, and she's gotten a little boring for me as well. My first unit only got to a recruit. She made it all the way to being an EU, and for that, I'm actually quite amazed. But it's her time now, and mine as well. I won't be leaving the community, I'll surely be back from time to time, and I'll be hanging around on the forums and what not. I'll probably be coming back to HL2RP someday, and probably will apply for another unit along with it. Best of luck to everyone with their current units, and adios to 091
