1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.
  Chris Gundersen wishes to join the CCA for many reasons. He wants to join because he is loyal to the CCA units and thinks that the combine has way more power than him. Chris also thinks he should join the CCA because he likes to study them, and even help them.

  Chris got lead to join the CCA because he sees units on the street everyday and people told him about why he should be one. Chris helps out the combine a lot and noticed that he should become one of them, for his good efforts.

  Chris has past times in this town, bad ones. Like him getting robbed or other bad things. So he may aswell join the CCA to stop those bad things from happening. Chris, even tells people to respect the CCA and tell them to do what the're told to do by them.

 

2) Please detail your characters traits. (Eg, Pure, Lawful, Trustworthy)
Chris Gundersen is quite a good samaritan. He is tough and loyal to whoever he thinks is loyal to them. Especially to the CCA units. Chris is also a pretty smart man and knows a lot about the CCA and other puzzling things.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
I am expecting the CCA to be really tough. The greater units  will look down upon me. Citizens will frown at me. The rebels will be scared of me, and of course will die from me. I think being a CCA unit will be quite scary when I first join it. Just the matter of being my best and staying posotive to greater units.

I know Chris can be tough but he can also be nervous, I can imagine Chris being in a situation he has to take care of, with all of the units below his grade being nervous too. He will do anything to become a great CCA unit and will put his farthest effor for it.


4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.
Chris Gundersen, ah A fine life. He was the greatest man of them all before his age. When he was born he was the finest boy in the state. He was called Cute, friendly, and even, helful and good to others. When he became the age two, he tought himself how to go to the bathroom without anyone telling him how. He then was the smartest kid in his school. People we're jealous of him, because he was so popular at the time. But then, when he finally got into middle school people called him nerdy and thought he was a geek. But the then finally realized he was really skinny and didn't do anything but research. He finally took a step off the library doors and started to work out and do other adventurous things in the world. Such as using electronics and other complex things he didn't know what to use. Then he finally became a freshman in highschool. When he got back from his summer break people started to like him now and look up upon him. He finally graduated and married this girl named Gina. She was the hottest girl in the school and made Chris really popular. Chris, after they got married became a really good technician at his dads private company. He was awarded for his great efforts on being one and got tons of money. He then was the CEO of the company, he was really good at the job and even worked on holidays. He took free time and made it work to help other on fixing their machines and other things. He didnt even have to get trained to be any of this. He was still loyal to others at the age of 36, when the combine attacked. Chris helped other calm down and respect the combine like they were regular old citizens.

My most memorable time in rp was when I stole a shotgun for a cp. I was on another server when I felt rebellious and snuck into a cca storage and took a shotgun. I was asking around how to unlock it, but noone knew what to do. So one day this guy came up to me saying I know what to do, so I gave it to him. A few minutes later I was seen getting chased by three cp's. I then got shot and fell to my death.

On first glance it shows just a series of sickeningly beautiful and handsome celebrity visages. But look closely…focus on the cross in the middle of the screen and watch as these stunning mugs turn increasingly grotesque.

The phenomenon has been termed the “flashed face distortion effect” and was discovered by accident as a University of Queensland researcher idly flicked through a series of images.

On his website, Matthew Thompson describes how fellow undergraduate student Sean Murphy stumbled across the effect while working alone in a lab one evening.

He writes: “He (Sean) aligned a set of faces at the eyes and started to skim through them. After a few seconds, he noticed that some of the faces began to appear highly deformed and grotesque.

“He looked at the especially ugly faces individually, but each of them appeared normal or even attractive.”

As Io9 points out: “It’s not unlike viewing the world through a fun-house mirror that lives in your mind.”

In their paper published last year in the journal Perception, Thompson and Murphy, as well as Jason Tangen present their findings as “a useful tool for investigating contrastive distortion effects and face adaption.”

Below is a similar experiment by the same researchers, featuring non-celebrities. It was awarded second prize in the Best Illusion of the Year Contest, 2012.

Some people love hearing themselves talk, so they give endless advice on things they hardly know anything about. I am one of such people, and so here is the best advice my feeble mind could scrounge up. Hopefully, by applying these simple rules to your life, you will live more fulfilled and more awesome.

9.) When tuning a string instrument, try tuning up to the note. If you must tune down, tune too far down, then back up so the tension in the strings are taut.

10.)  If you’re a skateboarder and can do really cool tricks, most people will believe you even better if you actually land these tricks instead of crashing into the cement.

11.) If you open up your eyes wide enough, you get to see colors like never before as if you havn’t noticed them before.

I dont know, but whenever I play Catalyst-Gaming RP. I tend to listen to these rap songs. They just, kind of make the game more fun and energizing.

1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.
Hello, my character (Chris Gundersen) wishes greatly to join the CCA for many reasons. The CCA has a ton of the power in city 45 and others, personally I like to have power and to control the citizens.

First, Chris Gundersen wants to be A CCA unit most of all because they have great unusual technology. Such as: The City-Scanner, AR2, and many more. I am really intrested in theese such of technologies that I would be a great CCA, and the other CCA units will understand me well and appreciate my help.

Lastly, becoming a CCA unit was one of the most reasons I come to these servers. Without units, it would be bored and there would be nothing else to do as a civilian. I'm sure I would entertain the civilians pretty well, if you know what I mean...

Chris Gundersen is a stealthy male, that likes to patrol (explore) around the city. He is talkative and he follows rules.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
For me, I think the CCA is a powerful and mean society, with a ton of machine made units controlling the area. If I closed my eyes and vizualize me being A CAA unit, i'd picture greater units, such as the JURY. To be standing at my side, inspecting me, and telling me what to do, and what not to do.

As Chris Gundersen, on the other hand. I think he can handle it. I think he can handle him being told what to do and how to react. Chris Gundersen can take the beating the bigger units give him, if he even gets beaten because of his intelligence and courage.

Ah Chris Gundersen. Chris Gundersen was a fine boy living in sweden. At the age of 10-30. He was the most popular boy in school. Kids loved him. Kids saluted him, and some kids, hated him. He became so strong from working out so he got all of the chicks in the school. But then, a new boy came to school. He was way tougher than Chris. He was hanging out with him one day at lunch, Chris was talking about this one video game called Counter Strike. So the bigger boy stood up on the table randomly and started beating Chris in the face. This changed Chris's life, he now was a huge computer geek, he had no friend, no girlfriend, and everyone looked down upon him. He was so into video games, at the age of 21, he became a video game disigner. He was amazing with technology, and he loved to shoot guns and operate with computers. At the age of 30 the combine attacked sweden and made him loose his job, and everything that he loved.

My most memorable quality was when I was a rebel in a different server. My characters name was Chris Gundersen suprisingly. I was in the slums one dark evening when two people stumbled across my travels. "Come with me" the strange person said. So, I followed. I followed them up to a wierd warehouse and they gave me a test. I had to say what I did when the combine didn't exist. I got the test correct. So the people of the slums loved me greatly, but one day. Something, cought me. I saw a dead combine next to the warehouse. Silly me, I walked in. I saw two units about to shoot the strange person that reqruited me. He looked at me. I had my gun out with my outfit. I had no ammo in the gun. He shot me till I had no bones left.
