To be honest the card you have isn't that old and if your not looking to run BF3 on medium-high settings then I recommend you just upgrade your CPU for an all-round performance boost but it depends as you may need to upgrade your mobo which then makes for an expensive upgrade.
You COULD try selling off your computer as replacement parts and then build a totally new one?

OA will probally still work but you'll probally have to make the client download the older versions of some of the vgui panels unless Kuro can fix it all ;p

Okay the reason I'm posting this here is mainly so that the developers and admins of HL2RP will see this.
As you know the big update is changing a lot and I have an informant that has the beta access and tells me that the update does break a portion (mostly client) of the gamemode, therefore I suggest you make a backup copy of gmod that won't get updated so that you can use some old files as well as backing up the vgui files so that you can make the vgui panels in OA work.
I used forum post to grab the attention of all the devs as its easier and helps to confirm such matter. No rage posts ;p

If it weren't for Apple and steve's discussion to re-invent the tablet PC, or re-invent what we expect from laptops or even phones I don't expect the other companies that then tried challenging this to come up with sometimes better products.
Industry always needs this kick in the back side to move on, and Steve was this innovation kick ;p Who will be next ?
Don't count on Bill Gates or any existing developer/company. Probably someone who wasn't born yet.
And the thing that Steve died is sad, but eh, I never was really connected with Apple, so.
You don;t have to be connected to Steve nor apple to be apart of the revolution. Apply and Steve really pushed the technology onto new beginning and better things. I don;t think we'd be having phones now that played high def games if it weren't for apple pushing out the iPhone/iTouch making all the other companies push out similar things and making Google push out Andriod.

People die every day. It is a fact of life. Its disappointing, but it shouldn't much affect you knowing the name of the person who has died, less they are close to you.
It's sad to know that such an iconic figure in the progression of technology has passed away...
By iconic you mean selling things for 2-3x as much as they're worth?
Rofl I don't think your appreciative. Either way you like it, Steve WAS known for revolutionising how we think of technology, how we use technology and pushed the worlds technology onto new stages. Okay the prices are atad overpriced but its a small price to pay for moving the worlds technology further and further on to better things, now he is dead I think the stock markets prove what I just said. Many people hope that Tim (who ever he is) can pull Apple through and maintain the iconic features of apple. But then others feel and I agree that this maybe the time that Google needs to pull on top lol (especially seeing the rise in popularity in Google Chromium and Android.)

Going to get the beta, but on thursday i have shooting at cadets so im gunna miss bf3 for shooting, so meh. Got a weekend,though. Gunna b gud.
IRL Shooting beats gaming any time. I pre-ordered it when it was announced lol got a epic deal on it £23 (disc copy)
