I'm really excited for this map, hopefully this gives OCRP the surge of players it needs.
Outstanding work, Statua!

Gap in the large industrial building. Bad lighting on the red warehouse outside of the city. The hard wood floor and tile textures are extremely bright and hurt my eyes. Odd shadow in the bank's vault. Extremely dark in the government building. Another odd shadow in the Mayor's office. Extremely bright counter top in the clothing store(?). Taco Bell booths have the same extremely bright texture that just look really bad. Large gap in the rock in the corner behind Taco Bell The map is looking great so far, I'm sure it's going to look even better once all of the bugs are fixed up!

If I remember correctly, you were the paramedic when we started a large fire in the Subs. If I am correct, you are a great player and am happy to see you joining the community! We could use a few more players interested in the roleplaying aspects of OCRP. Welcome to CG

I actually can't believe I never thought of doing something like this. It is possible to set up and I think it would be awesome to watch and see what happens. There would need to be clues riddled throughout the house/warehouse/whatever, and have evidence pointing in a certain direction (either to or away from a suspect). I am really interested in setting something like this up now, it's just too bad that OCRP hasn't seen a player count above 5 in ages. Maybe one day OCRP will regain some popularity and we'll be able to set this up.

This is a great idea, Statua. We've needed a way to get people's honest opinions on how to improve, and this is excellent.

So many cars, I can't choose which one I want! So I must buy them all!

There is absolutely no reason why a player should get banned 5 times for them to realize "Hey, I'm breaking rules and should stop". It's their own fault for breaking the rules. The way I see it is, a person that constantly breaks the rules is selfish in most cases. They would rather grief and ruin the entertainment of another player for their own benefit or entertainment. Therefore, I don't think they should get a 5th chance after they have been given 4 chances to shape up.

When you have a shotgun as a police officer, if you quit your job while carrying a shotgun, you will keep the shotgun.

When you exit a vehicle, it will now lock if you are the owner, buddies with the owner, or in the same org as the owner.
This was always a pain, THANK YOU FOR ADDING THIS!

Thanks wake, you saved me the trouble of making this thread.
I do think it would be really nice to add more stations. I'm not a fan of any of the current stations...
The Buzz was back on OCRP 1.5 and that was a pretty good station, I would like to see that one again. I really like the idea of adding the Comedy Club station too, that would be a nice change.

I was never entirely sure why this was never added to OCRP1.5.... But now that OCRP2 has vehicle renting, there really isn't a reason to sell vehicles back. If you buy a car on an impulse and it turns out to be a crappy car, you should have rented and done a test drive before you bought it.
Considering the common goal among players is to have the best car, I think it would be too easy to buy a car now and sell it once you have earned enough to upgrade to a better car.

The ability to rent vehicles needs to be restricted from all jobs, except for citizen and possibly mayor. A couple of times now have I seen player with the tow truck driver job attempt to rent a vehicle, pay for the vehicle, and no be allowed to drive it because of their job. Once they quit their job the car disappears and the player loses the money spent renting the vehicle they could not even drive.
I've only seen this happen to tow truck drivers so far, so i'm not actually sure if a police officer or medic can rent vehicles in the first place and tow truck driver was just missed and has to be added to the restriction.
