And be stupid as paramedics roll up in firetrucks.
What uniform would they wear?
What vehicle would they use?
How would they be called over the radio?
This would ruin what realism is left for both jobs.
Keep them with the fire fighter uniform. Keep the fire truck and referencing to another post add that 911 SUV (emergency SUV). Wouldn't change much, the fire fighter/ EMS would respond to what ever is needed, they don't have to be called anything. And what realism would it ruin? Firefighters are trained to basically do what EMS actually do, honestly the way the EMS system works right now is not realistic. EMS are meant to stabilize and transport the patient to the hospital where a physician can attend to the patient not show up and fix broken bones and heal people back to health.

I honestly think that this should be implemented. Due to the sheer fact that the numbers occupying each job just isn't enough for the most part. Yes there are times where there is 2-3 in a job or both but how long does that usually last? Exactly... I support them being placed together. If things get busy which at times it will its up to dispatch or the people on duty to prioritize the calls coming in.
+SUPPORT.

Seeing as how I have actually been set on fire... I think there should be a chance for your cloths to catch fire when you step into fire, this would only mean that your player would be set fire until extinguished with a hose or fire extinguisher. This will add realism and could give the EFS more of a job. And maybe make a way for you to pass out from the smoke. If you are in a burning house, you will have to leave in a amount of time before you either pass out and die/or making something can craft like a gas mask, witch the firemen should get on spawn. There should be a set limit to the time of the gas mask, more realism. :3 I am sure that the people who rp fire services will love this idea as for the realism aspect.
As a rp Fire service, i like these ideas :b But not the the fire on clothes.. The fire does damage over time already(to non FFs). And why make them die even faster? They would die in like 3 seconds or so. nope sorry
I do like the idea of a gasmask! But not for citizens. I know some people irl have gas maskes, but come on, It's not all. (meaning it would be a little unrealistic)
Uh... I am 15... and I own a gasmask... you can buy them at stores... or order them... my friends have gasmask too... The fire thing is nice, I said a chance not always, your cloths would catch fire and you would burn without being in the fire, it should do less damage. And for one... do you see people owning fricking car bombs, automatic weapons in general and or most of the things that are craftable? I mean really, if this is how you want to push it, I can't say the least. And for the record, it is more common then you think.
I think what he meant was that if gas masks were available to anything in the game it would defeat the purpose to add the factor of smoke doing anything. It will be like if nothing was ever changed. If a massive fire broke out or a house fire it would make sense if this would be added to and the fire fighters would be the only ones to withstand the smoke.

What are the changes to the car scripts?
Thanks for the updates. Appreciate the time and effort you put into the updates to make our gaming more enjoyable.

id have to agree, trucks should have way more fuel than a conventional car. Aswell as to the cars drinking gas like water, in the cruiser i can go about 4 times around the map and have to refuel... and its not really a lot of driving around.

You ever heard "it ain't broke don't fix it?" Perfect example almost ever player and friend I asked liked how it was. Only person who disagreed was fearless and I guess you and statua, still minority. Don't see why everyone has to suffer because you personally didn't like it.
Your honestly the only one ive seen complaining about the hydraulics. Realistically cars don't go jumping around. Don't like it then make a topic in the suggestions to up the power of hydraulics and leave it at that. If there is enough support then it may or may not be added again. People do abuse it and perhaps yourve only seen it in private areas there are plenty of time people were just jumping around in the middle of the city. It is a semi serious server.

I am thinking of a job named doctor, it will be a stay at hospital job. I am thinking this because I want there to be a way to throw a dieing body into your car to rush them to the hospital if paramedics are taking to long. I had an idea to where you put it on the car and it locks it to it or something. The doctor job would have a nurse outfit and would be able to revive and heal, just not able to drive around.
um... i like the idea of a doctor. Being that EMS cant really heal gunshot wounds or broken bones. Their job is to stabilize the patient until they can get them to the hospital for care. Would deff be a passive job and could add some flavor to the game.. not to mention the pay check $$$ Not really into the whole driving the patient thing.

I deff like this idea. Would add flavor to the serious RPers that actually set up a perimeter and control traffic, not just the firemen who get out the truck run to the fire and whip out a hose from their pocket. Some Fire control would be sweet. Would like to interact with a Fireman chief as i am a police sergeant.

Just have to find a way to meet a medium. Perhaps make it to where if a dispatch is on then all 911 and radio transmissions would go to the dispatch. Now if the dispatch like Khub said went AFK or is not doing his/her job then it can be toggled to send a transmissions to the other officers.
I like the idea that all calls go to dispatch, its how it should be, and it gives dispatchers something to do. Granted dispatch my get a overhaul of calls if lets say there is max server and 10 cops, 3 Fire, 4 EMS online.
Not sure if there is a limit to the amount of dispatchers but if lets there max is 3, and there was a way to "Specialize" in a department. One dispatch would only receive transmissions of cops, other fire, and the other EMS, but they all receive the 911 calls. That way each has their own perspective areas and if they find a common place to be then they can easily organize all the government officials to respond to certain situations, (car accident requires a police for traffic control, EMS for injuries, and fire for putting the car out.)

I understand that... but when you get on with those nit pick cops that pull you over for going 1mph over the speed limit, it gets rather annoying... Idk, maybe you could find a way to steal it from something that uses it? [/quote]
Just like irl you have the chance of running into a by the book cop. It's part of the RP experience. Don't give the cop attitude and maybe get off with a warning. a lot of times minor offenses like going 1-5 mph over end up in a traffic stop to get a warning then people start being assholes and that's when everything goes downhill for the person.

Name says it all in a sort, make it so when you get knocked out or die, instead of third person, it is first person. Just seems more realistic. I really don't see any type of con to this and the one of the pros is that you can remove meta death gaming to say.
Only problem I could see with this is in the cases of RDM and CDM that third person view gives the person the opportunity to gets screenshots or video the vehicle or person. Maybe make it to like a vehicle it can be ctrl to go into first person?

You can do pretty much everything (i believe it's limited to a few things such as html tags, and large pictures).
Head over to the store page (http://www.catalyst-gaming.net/index.php?page=store), and select the "Forum Title" purchase. You can also buy it for a friend, but that costs twice as much.
You can just use bbcode, which is the same the forum uses to color text and stuff.
Just click the display button to see how it looks, to make sure you made no mistakes
Thanks crap head.

No taxi? I don't see how it would hurt. Deff would add RP for those who try RPing taxi driver. I use a red car and drive people around RPing a red cab. Would be nice to have the dedicated car so people could buy and RP it.

What exactly can be requested as a donation forum title? Or is it a "Donator" title?

I don't mind RP but a original project that C-G makes would benefit the server a lot more than doing a military RP server. Granted I don't have to go on it if it were ever created but as I'm a active duty Marine I sure as hell won't have some kid trying to act like he knows what's going on or yelling at me trying to act like a drill instructor.. I went through 3 months of that and I sure hell ain't going to let anyone think they know how to be a DI.
Make a new RP server. Enhance the OCRP gameplay with a new bigger map with more buildings, more npcs, more concrete jobs, cars, and ways to enjoy the game. Make more concrete ways of making passive RP (crafting food, drinks, alcohol) and make the jobs more interactive with each other. Maybe even tie in some HRP? Make a part of the map water? Allow people to use boats and have a couple islands.
I know that in OCRP one of my turn offs is that to interact with the mayor/ police office/ and court room, people have to wait on a half working elevator rather than maybe a actual building dedicated to that function. Would be nice to have a police station with a small waiting room, reception desk, evidence locker, offices, and a prison system not having to wait for a elevator and then running all the way to the bottom floor.
Well this is getting long... Sorry
