Hey Trick,
The point of a thesis is to prove something using support. This isn't a persuasion though, because it isn't just a personal opinion. It's something that can actually be PROVEN not just "this is what I think". Don't use first person. For example, a good thesis could be "Malcolm X was an integral part of the Civil Rights Movement." then you go on with facts to prove why, as opposed to the unacceptable "I think he was good for Civil Rights and here's why I think that."

I don't mean to be harsh, but this seems a liitle more like a fantasy you want to see come true as opposed to a server wide event. How does the population get involved, other than hearing "Oh did you hear what happened? Some guy did this and that. He must be sooo cool." ?

I agree with raged. The map is too small, and if everyone gets infected in 5 hours (which they will because infected players know all the hiding spots) it will ruin passive roleplay for the next 3 days. Maybe if it was a part of the Half Life story I would be more in support, but right now it sounds like a cheap "knockoff zombie DLC" for a 1 player console game (cough Red Dead Redemption cough). I don't mean to be a jerk or offend, I just think it defeats the purpose of a Serious RP server.

I know this post is out of place but could you post that command? I'm tired of doing loyalist jobs and thinking I'm getting points, but I have no way to be sure. Then if you ask the CP they usually refuse to tell you or say something about not being allowed to ask. Thanks, and sorry for the out of place post.

Trickster, I don't know how old you are but from this post you sound young enough that this whole dating thing is new to you. A piece of advice that never goes bad and is good to learn early is this: Nobody is perfect. I remember the age when the girl.you had a crush on was just the best and no one could even compare. But honestly, that's hormones mixed with only seeing love in movies where everyone lives happily ever after with their soulmate. That isn't how the real world works. You will go through lots of girlfriends and lots of years until you find a keeper, so don't stress over the little things now. 3 months is too long to be hung up on a girl, no matter how pretty she is or whatever it was that made you so infatuated that it seemed so important to you at such a young age. And remember that just because she moved on first doesn't mean she was unfaithful or anything, and don't blame the guy for dating a girl that's been single for 3 months. Maybe she fibbed to break up with you, which is a shame, but you also have to consider it might just have been her way of trying not to hurt your feelings by saying she didn't want to date you.

Hi, I work in IT and wanted to point out that this isn't really a relevant question. People bring in computers from the late 90's that still work fine (well after I fix whatever issue has them bringing it to me, but you know what I mean). Computers themselves last a long time, the real question is how devoted are you to keeping up with technology. If you really wanted to have top-of-the-line gear, you would buy a whole new computer about every 5 months, no matter how fancy your last one was or how much you bragged about it on the forums.
Also, asking if it will last you until you need an upgrade is like asking if something will work until it doesn't work anymore. It's a circular, redundant question.

I suppose you are right, I just wish there was a fix that didn't mess up the roleplay. With such a long delay, (reloading the map, textures (something about police/barneyshead always takes me ages)) it really interrupts the flow of the game, which to me is a big factor in how enjoyable the roleplay is.

Well I see what you mean about reconnecting, but if I want to stand because a CP told me too and cant stand up, then I disconnect to fix it, it just looks like I'm disconnecting to get away from the CP, which could ban me because of server rules and tarnish my reputation as an RP'er.

Well I think it depends on what kind of a person you are. I'm very task-oriented, so having something to really focus on always makes me feel better. Find something that interests you, but also gives you a hard challenge to complete. Another possibility is just watch something you think is really funny or really emersive to get away from it. I hope this helps, post any questions.

I have been experiencing a bug in the city lately that makes me stay seated and slide or hop around when I try to stand up. I'm not sure if it's a fixable bug, but I thought I should post it here because it's a bug that affects the RP pretty heavily. If anyone knows something I could do to help correct it, please post it here. Thanks.
