I love the idea of the DW20 pack, using it all the time over any others. When it comes to PVP worlds, it's simply "lolmystcraft" to me. Just watch you all, I'll have the best base and only a single way IN!

The world: So far, crap's goin down. People stand still, regardless.
The servers: Sometimes empty, sometimes full, Minecraft server shouldve picked a better pack (1.4.7 ain't cutting diddly, you know, DW20 #1 with BOP enabled is fun)
The foobins: Foobin fresh like a foobityfoo does.
Go ahead, commentate. This aint shitposting, just a subtle hint drop.

As taboo as death is in America as a whole, 9/11 was a hard knock on wood for being called invincible. People got in, and had a plan, and went through it. Assuming all of the middle east is suicidal and murderous is assuming every American is obese, stupid, and lazy.
Seriously, sure we take a bit of mourning to our loss, and a major economic center in our nation was hit. I honestly think we should drop it after a while, and refer it as a textbook historical event under "first direct attack to the US."
Obama should have a better plan, he's been whizzing paper airplanes like a student without motivation for his last term, and his first executive order should've been stripper poles in the white house (fuckin' love saints row)
Outside of that, just because people die of starvation, and we have lazy individuals with a strong need to be weaned off the welfare, no countries are perfect. Some have poor economies, people, and even worse military. Really now, I'd sooner live in England, or Sweden, or somewhere where everyone is actually in peacetime for once. This nation has sunk its boots in the blood of war, and sadly enough we aren't going to see an end to it any time soon to step out. Welcome to America, where you can bitch about the government and they'll for once listen to you. #NSA

Gonna butt in on this one. Say you've struck out, got a perma. You're jammed out anally of CG for a full month.
And then suddenly, you got one shot out of the land of the permazone. Ever played EVE Online? There's a subscription thing to get yourself back in, it's called "Hours For EVE." It gives you 12 hours of playtime to redeem yourself a pending PLEX or something like that. The terms of using it though, is if you DON'T redeem a plex, you lose that privilege for life.
In that case, give everyone a single "day" under close watch to show they've changed. If not, well that's their problem. Following that, everyone gets one. Don't redeem yourself? You can't learn, you autistic idiot. Otherwise, you're still under warning, but it's a close inspection based on admins, and should be a better way instead of "unb& from perma, m1ng3time" and letting them run into a brick wall again.
The motivation to prove? • Time • Close watch • Only one shot to get out of the happy perma institution • Admin surveillance, for an afternoon or so.
It isn't hard, and I'm sure after a month someone is ready to show themselves up all clean and dandy, my 2 cents.

Makes it unplayable, fixable by reconnect. Lost so much due to this bug :x

I see your point, but the whole 20 prop boat is antispammed, therefore they have to physically work every prop again. Despite that, of course there's a lot of single prop stuff that crashes servers. That isn't the point to my means, and I guess its not what it used to be about model blacklists blocking ents :x
Oh well, at least it was a suggestion / idea / shot in the dark

As in the title, it's simple. Duplicator in gmod 13 is as dangerous as it is fixable.
I know many of you've done in beta, is save guns and ammo so you can use them in the servers that don't spawn with em. Since HRP runs off of FPP (Falco's prop protection), there's a handy dandy duplicator model blacklist!
Right now (10/28/12) duplicator is SUPERadmin only, meaning nobody can use it except them. Exploits? always. Problems? Sometimes. Things that mandate it being removed from a relatively unstable gamemode? Never.
I say this for good reason, because I'm sure there's a good reason that it was banned from everyone in the first place. My suggestion for fixing the problems for any of the following questions. (I'll check for edits later if you have any questions thereafter)
Q) People spawning weapons and ruining the gamemode, do what now? D:! A) Weapons are based off entities with models, right? Block the model, block the entity. Simple! (FPP has a model blacklist separate for duplicator and Q Menu spawning)
Q) What about those lagbombs that crash servers? A) FPP again has an anti-spam for such an occasion. a lot of the time its easily catchable, because gmod 13 is extremely refined now, but for those sneaky exploits that not even a veteran like myself know can be caught. FPP is gonna have to be a Nazi on complicated things for duplicator, so it's a sacrifice for regulation. Tl;dr FPP can ghost the dupe and forces the minge to interact, therefore giving a good idea if somethin's up before it gets too bad, and next time being banned of props being abused.
Q) People keep spawning crap like NPCs and Bouncy balls! What now? A) As I've stated before, model blacklists through FPP are the sexiest things alive. Also, its a good thing it filters entities too.
Q) Somehow someone managed to get a map entity that wasn't supposed to be here, and it's creating a massive disadvantage! A) Here's how it works. Someone gets sneaky about somethin' in a map. A few known exploits (albeit uncommon) Are people getting map entities from de-compiled maps. In HRP, the gamemode is really handling pretty much everything. So half the stuff in the duplicator actually wont copy over, because it isn't the same. I'm not saying we ban every prop and blacklist it because it's exploitable. I'm suggesting we take care of the commonplace and easy to reach abuses so the average minge with a braincell or two can't do it.
For you TL;DR people for this post, get out. You cant just skim a thread like this and then ask stupid questions.

Got mine while writing a short story. Started with the Letter X, wanted a cool spelling style of some Celtic / Gothic region in europe aaand it clicked. :3
By the way, people constantly mispronounce my name so I'm gonna clear it up
Xanuch (Zah-nuuk) Celtic / Gothic pronounciations
My avitars are of my own creation, really. Stealin pics was a shameless ordeal I'll never turn to doing.
