Luckily only a few units have questioned my return and so it has gone to show that my previous existence has already been forgotten, in which I do not mind. Their may be reasons to resist but you need to remember the amount of control the civil protection have over you. To even speak of it leaves you and your friends/family at risk, let alone act on it. The city is a very, very contained environment and you need to understand to "rebel" is a suicidal act. I cannot stress it enough to the people who think "rebelling" is a good thing, because it's not... It's only going to cause more harm than good to you and your fellow citizens, as the bare amount of food you receive now is more then likely going to be decreased.
Survival in the city is based on submitting to the combine, and that's just how people get through everyday. That doesn't mean you have to but you shouldn't go "Let's go shot cop some CP." all factors need to be taken into consideration.

I've participated in many roles in HL2RP before and believe I have the experience required to assist in a position to help passive role-play. I'm available when needed but I'll need to be notified so I can ensure I can make the timings. To put it plainly I've been serious role-playing now for at least 6 years and have a solid understanding of HL2 canon, I've also been placed in a lot of commanding roles within the CCA/UCA and have ran my own community a few times. So yea, that's a little about me. If needed I can speak to you on steam and provide you with more details etc.
If a CP is clearly busy, I don't interact with them. But if they're just doing one of these things, and I have a reason to, I will.

It would also appear you have the wrong mentalities for a serious RP. Fix this please, or your imperfections will be logged, and will be put against you in your final Aperture Science performance report.
The role of a civil protection unit is to ensure the city is socio-stable, not to be a tour guide for random citizens. The only time you should approach a CP to hold a conversation is when you have information on a AC or something of importance to them. Asking them how their day is, is just going to piss them off.
